We had a wonderful time, restful, peaceful and the scenery is fantastic. The Manor staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was fabulous. It is close to shops and the Squam Lakes and only a short drive to the White Mountain Nature Reserve - so convenient!

There is no Golden Pond. There is a very tired, sad inn that sits atop a hill in dire need of updating in every aspect of the word. The best thing about the inn are the staff, who are extremely friendly and helpful, and the quality of the breakfast. The exterior of the inn is moldy, peeling and harboring many...

Fantastic dining - great service - wood fireplace in the room - we will definitely be back. Close to Weirs Beach and Squam Lake - very personable service and excellent food - love the privacy and quiet

There are definitely some old-school "quirks" to this property, but overall a nice stay. There is no lake access on the property, but we did take advantage of the on site pool. Breakfast was delicious! Definitely a rustic stay; the wifi was extremely spotty/unreliable and we didn't have cell service while we were there. Definitely felt like a far away...

This is a lovely house in a lovely place, and a perfect way to leave the world behind. I overnighted here on a small sightseeing trip around southern New Hampshire, and ate a fabulous dinner in their dining room, overlooking beautiful Lake Squam. I stayed in their Mayfair room, a cosy and beautifully appointed room filled with antiques and tasteful...

My husband & I just spent the night at The Manor on Golden Pond and had a wonderful and enjoyable experience. We were treated like VIP guests and felt so relaxed and welcomed by the staff and environment. Our room was spacious and decorated with great style. We enjoyed both a jet tub and wood burning fireplace. The word that...

My wife and I enjoyed a most wonderful weekend at this historic AAA four diamond inn overlooking New Hampshire's Squam Lake. Our weekend package included two nights in the Tudor room (leaded glass windows and working fireplace), gourmet breakfasts and dinners, afternoon tea, and two days of "A Fork in the Road" cooking class entitled "Sensational Seafood" given by the...

If you re looking for the quintessential inn experience look no further than The Manor On Golden Pond. Brian and Maryellen along with their wonderful staff really make you feel special and pampered. The accommodations are outstanding, and the food is excellent. Peter(the chef) is an artist and in a class by himself. Love the little extras like homemade hot...

Very comfortable and cozy place. Our room had a hot-tub and a fireplace, and was very clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. The staff was always present yet invisible at the same time. We wanted some suggestions on some activities in the area, and they were very helpful.

My boyfriend and I visited the Manor in Mid February and we had such a great time. We stayed in Kent, which has a Jacuzzi and a king bed. The room was not located in the main house which we had no issue with. The room was very spacious and we also had a balcony with a view of the...
