In planning a hiking trip to Franconia Notch with my son, I had found this motel listed at a good price. The reviews all indicated this was a no-frills, but quaint, clean, and friendly place to stay. After staying for Columbus Day Weekend, I couldn't agree more. All rooms were full, and we were staying in one that was smaller...

I had booked a 2 night stay while planning a hiking trip in the area. I actually did not stay here so can not give a complete review but I wanted to post a thank you! Unfortunately I had a hiking accident the day I was to check in & ended up in the emergency room with a fractured leg....

We had a challenge finding somewhere to stay in the Lincoln area on a very busy fall weekend. Decided this would be ok based on reviews here. The gps could not find the address given online. Use Daniel Webster highway instead! The room was very dated and worn, but it was clean and smelled good. The location is out of...

We stayed at this motel for 1 night after visiting the white mountains area. We got a room with king size bed. The bed sheet seems white and clean. The room and bath need an update, and a clean up. The room was small and a little bit dark. Wi fi was poor. The staff was very nice and helpfull....

When we arrived we learned that Trip Advisor (thank you!) had upgraded us to a suite, 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchenette, bathroom, normal price $149. It was wonderful! Excellent condition in all respects. At the last minute we decided to stay another night in a regular room, regular price. Big difference...very dated in general (walls in need of patching/painting, tiny bathroom,...

Stayed here with the family while visiting the White Mountains. I thought this has a perfect location. Everything is within an hours drive. Kancamagus is about 10 mins away, Clark's Trading Post is 2 mins, Whales Tale is across the street. Cottages are decent sized. Nice and clean rooms with comfy beds. There's a babbling brook behind it and multiple...

If you are looking for a modern, updated and pristine place to stay, don't stay here. But if you just need a clean, friendly spot with a comfortable bed, this is the place. It is convenient and cozy and I had the best night's sleep that I've had in a long time. I would stay here again. (I stayed in...

I stayed at this Motel with my family in 1959, and now 57 years later I spent the night for old times sake. Friendly, clean, and like a page out of yesteryear when small roadside motels were the norm. No, you won't find a bar or a night club or an exercise room. You will find a friendly owner, a...

We had been camping and wanted to not spend the night in the rain and started looking for a motel. There were no vacancies anywhere but we were lucky enough that someone canceled their reservation. It's close to restaurants, the Flume Gorge and Cannon Mountain. It was a comfortable room and you could here the rushing of the river.
