We absolutely loved this place the minute we arrived. Our friends son was getting married at Castle in the Clouds (see other review) and the grooms parents rented this house for their immediate family and close friends. It felt like home the minute we arrived. We all had our own bedroom and private bathroom. The place is immaculate and decorated...

Tom and Shannon have created a perfect retreat on Lake Winnipesaukee to bring a family, group or a number of couples. My wife and I have come to the Olde Orchard Inn for years when it was a bed and breakfast. This was the first year we rented the entire house. We had 8 couples (some with kids) come up...

This whole-house rental is beautiful and perfect for people interested in experiencing the beautiful New Hampshire surroundings. Old Orchard Inn used to be a bed and breakfast where my wife and two children would stay during our annual trips to New Hampshire from Austin, Texas. The owners are wonderful people, and they have taken care of every little detail to...

I recently visited New Hampshire for a wedding at Squam Lake and the wedding party stayed at Olde Orchard Inn. I managed to book the Baldwin room quite far in advance and it was absolutely gorgeous. i felt very fortuitous. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with their own tasty homemade maple syrup. And then the...

We loved the Olde Orchard Inn and so did our daughter and grandsons. The rooms are inviting and very comfortable….those down covers were perfect because we could leave the windows open at night….We stayed in the Maiden Blush and had a perfect night, away from all the tourists and the traffic, amidst the apple trees and the bird song. We...

We booked two rooms at this beautiful old inn and enjoyed our stay very much. The historic property is charmingly set in a beautiful apple orchard off a quiet road. It's lovingly kept up and spotlessly clean. The owners are so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was hearty enough with french toast offered the first morning, and a healthy alternative available....

Checked in after a crazy week long family reunion at a rental house in the area. What a peaceful two nights, and I wish it had been more. The rooms were good size, comfortable beds, nice bathrooms and fantastic breakfast. A true gem. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to relax and revive. We stayed...

Nestled among the hills of the NH Lakes Region, down a picturesque treelined country lane, you happen upon the stone wall outline of the Olde Orchard Inn, and you are immediately filled with the sense that you have discovered a special place. The innkeepers, Shannon and Tom, are gifted artists, and this inn is their canvas on which they demonstrate...

A rambling 18th century farmhouse situated in an apple orchard in the New Hampshire Lakes Region, just a mile down the lane from Lake Winnipesaukee and two miles from Castle in the Clouds. Formerly a B&B, the farmhouse is now available as a whole-house vacation rental, offering over 5500 square feet of accommodation with 11 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, three dining rooms, and three living rooms. The house combines the charm of New England -- exposed brick and timbers, painted floorboards, featherdown duvets -- with mod cons such as high speed wi-fi throughout. “All the rooms are charming and comfortable, some larger than others.”

“I enjoyed my room, "Maiden's Blush" (rooms aptly named for varieties of apples), located a few steps off the main breakfast room. From my extremely comfortable bedding, I could smell fresh pot of coffee, but hear no noises! The grounds outside my windows (several) were blanketed in snow, & my bathroom had both a heat lamp and a tub with jets. I could have put a fire in the room's fireplace, but I didn't. A new wall-mounted television was provided, but I didn't even turn it on until the 3rd day while packing my suitcase to "re-enter" the real world.”
