We stayed at the Red Elephant for 2 nights as part of a round trip of New England in October. It has a very personal touch and each room has a different theme. We had no 7 which is very spacious and on the 2nd floor - would stay there again. The inn has a lovely communal living room with... More

This is our 2nd time at this place and we can't wait for our third and fourth and fifth etc. The place is a total gem and the owner Rob is a genuine, one of a kind host. He's so thoughtful and so kind. His breakfasts are amazing.... His rooms are all different and well maintained. Each room has its... More

Home away from home! We stayed 4 nights at the Inn. A very nice place, cozy accommodation. Every morning great and a different home-made breakfast. And above all Rob's hospitality & traveling tour information and Brody-his dog's tricks.

We had only booked for one night as we passed through New Hampshire but the great welcome from Rob (and his dog,) and comfortable feel of the Red Elephant Inn made us regret that we were moving on so soon.

I stayed in 2 rooms while I was there, both were very comfortable and clean, beds cozy. The front porch is perfect to watch the sunset and a nice deck area out back to enjoy time outside. Such other special touches: wine in the evenings, coffees, teas, apples, snacks available at any time. Comfortable library area to cozy up in... More

My wife and I were scheduled to spend a night at this B&B recently. Unfortunately, a plumbing issue arose and we were not able to spend the night. However, Rob the owner, turned a bad situation totally around. He called me to explain what had happened and told me that not only was he going to give me a complete... More

We stayed two nights during the peak of "leaf" season. Rob, the innkeeper, is very pleasant and helpful. His helper (didn't get her name) was cheerful and very nice. But the star personality is Brody, the "house" dog, a 7-year-old Sheltie. Since I am a dog person we got on quite well. The breakfasts were very good and generous. Based... More

We stayed one night at the Red Elephant Inn and wish we had stayed longer! We stayed in the Neiman Marcus room (I believe it is #8), which was on the second floor and nice and quiet. The room also had incredible views of the mountains. The innkeeper was extremely warm and welcoming and his dog Brodie was adorable -... More
