We had an absolutely perfect stay in an upgraded room and the service was fantastic. The food at Fosters Boiler Room was excellent. The continental breakfast was just right too. Our room was quiet and had everything we needed - fridge, two sinks, flat panel TV, nice bedding. The (supposedly solar-heated) shower was suspiciously hotter than we feared a solar-heated...

We stayed at The Common Man from 2/16-2/18 with our two teens. This time we had a room with two queen beds, a pull out couch, a fireplace and a "porch" area. The room was huge and very clean. I liked how the bathroom has a separate sink and a full bathroom. We enjoyed the pool and whirlpool. My husband...

Overall poor experiences with both the stay and the Front Desk Service Manager. The person taking my reservation associated with a Groupon couldn't determine how to book a room costing less than what I had paid. This would have resulted in the Inn making more money from the transaction and would have given me a room that was a better...

Hi Duncan00, Thanks for taking the time to share you experience! We love to hear from our guests. The cabin is a great place to relax and feel at home. Hi Baller52, We are so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! Our restaurant Foster’s Boiler Room is truly a unique, one of a kind! In 2001 The Common Man Family transformed the defunct wood mill into the Inn, Spa and Foster’s Boiler Room restaurant. With the construction maintaining 90% of the original building, the five-level boiler room was converted...

We had an impromptu stay Sunday night with all the ice on the roads. We have two dogs and thankfully we stopped and grabbed the last pet friendly room. It was so cozy. The dogs got a bone each for their welcome. We all enjoyed the fireplace in the room. We will definitely make a trip back with the dogs.
