Where do I begin? If I were to rate the hotel on everything except cleanliness, I would give it 3 stars. The bed was comfy, the room spacious, plenty of parking, friendly front desk staff on checkin, friendly housekeeper, air conditioning worked well. Free wifi, free parking. Now the ugly...towels so so thin, really, spend a couple dollars more, I...

I've stayed at most of the hotels in Portsmouth and this is by far the best value. Every staff member I came in contact with was super helpful and professional. The room was sparkling clean. My fiance loved the pool and jacuzzi (both were inside). One of the women from the front desk made me a waffle! We are planning...

We have stayed here a couple times when visiting Portsmouth. It is not located within walking distance of downtown but it is alot more reasonable. The rooms On the third floor have been renovated so ask for one of them. Breakfast included. Not too fancy but sufficient. Only problem we had was that we got back one night at 830...

This hotel is pet friendly which was nice because we could bring our dog, but there is a pet fee of $20. The rooms nothing fancy bit nothing bad. There is a breakfast in the morning. It is about a five minute drive downtown to Portsmouth.

This motel is strictly a 2 star establishment. Rooms were just barely clean enough to sleep in. Looks like the blankets and bedspreads were not washed between guests, so we avoided using them. The bathtub had old "stickies" on the bottom and the baseboards were pretty dirty. We only stayed one night but we will not be going back.

The rooms were clean but the hotel overall could use a renovation. The bathrooms were old and seemed dirty but were just stained. Staff are friendly and willing to help. The continental breakfast is sufficient but watch for the crowds. In the morning there were large tour groups leaving and they would take up the entire breakfast area for long...

We just spent a couple nights here. We checked in early and were given an upgrade to a kitchenette which was nice. The pool area was clean and the hot tub nice and hot! They offerred a breakfast of: cold cereal, fruit, hard boiled eggs, bagels, toast, muffins, and you could make your own waffles. They also had oatmeal, coffee...

I used to book family and friends into the Anchorage Inn but had never stayed there myself until last week. It was a sweet set of surprises: Staff were friendly, room was spacious and comfortable, facility was clean and parking was ample. Best of all, it was affordable during high tourist season. The facility is a healthy walk from downtown...

We stayed one night at this hotel for a weekend wedding nearby. We booked a room with 2 double beds for a good price on booking.com. The hotel decor was a bit dated, but it was clean and neat. Check in was quick and the clerk was courteous. Breakfast room is off the lobby and pool with hot tub beyond...

This is a throw back to a 1950-60's motel or motor lodge, just off the interstate. The lobby and hallways reeked of chlorine from the pool. Our room was shared with a variety of bugs in the bedding. To the front desk's credit, they invesitgated immediately, but it was too late at night to find other lodging, so we were...
