My wife and I stayed at the Inn and had dinner in their restaurant. They only have six rooms so there is no "front desk" when you walk in. We talked to the restaurant hostess and she took care of us. We stayed in the David Copp room on the second floor with a nice private bath and a couple...

Very nice, clean, comfortable and spacious room. No TV in any of the rooms, was tough to get used to , although there was a small game/reading area we used to play checkers and uno. Quiet area, not much to do unless you drive a bit further away. Food was OK, dinner very salty, breakfast omelets were good, french toast...

What a beautiful family owned Bed and Breakfast Inn, Dinner and breakfast were delicious and gluten free. The view was amazing at sunset. The rooms were clean and beds were extremely comfortable. All updated but still very quaint Historical Landmark. What a gem. Thank you

Stayed at the Wakefield Inn. Stayed in the Sanborn Room for two nights. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The stay included breakfast each morning. I will say all went well and each breakfast was delicious.

We have lived in the area for many years and we had yet to try the Wakefield Inn for dinner. We made a reservation and arrived on time. We were the first in the dinning room and seated at a pleasant table by a wood stove. The place was warm and cozy. We gave our drink and food order at...

Our stay was a stopover on our way to North Conway. We stayed in the Sanborn room which was nicely furnished and has a gas firelog in the fireplace which was a plus. The negative from the fireplace is the voices that came from the central fireplace in the restaurant downstairs. Since they stop at 9PM it is not a...

We stayed 2 nights in The Whittier Room. The room was warm and inviting and allowed us to catch up on rest and each others company. The Inn was quiet and cozy, a nice place to stay during a wintry weekend in January. We ate breakfast and two dinners at the restaurant and each time the food was delicious. We...

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in Aug 2015. In summary - great service and clean rooms. The Inn only has 6 rooms which are not ultra-luxurious, but for the price, we were very happy with our stay. We couldn't speak more highly for the new ownership (2 years now); they seem dedicated and eager to please their guests....
