I just returned from a weekend ski trip in New Hampshire and i would highly recommend the Follansbee. At the risk of being long winded I will try to keep it brief. The Inn is located in a picturesque town with a view of Lake Kezar. The Inn itself is immaculate and well maintained. I particularly loved the pellet stove...

It was amazing my stay at Follansbee Inn! It's not just ("just") Denis, the owner, who treats you as if you were his only guest, who takes care himself of the delicious gourmet breakfast, who invites you to his home. Also the people that goes there, the other guests, they reflect the spirit of the owner. Even a Brazilian like...

Fantastic place! We stayed one night and went skiing the next day. Rooms are beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Dennis and Angel are great hosts and Dennis makes a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend it.

This is a magical place, next to Kezar Lake. I stayed there on Friday night, and this was my fourth time. Denis Swords, the innkeeper, is a wizard in the kitchen, concocting all sorts of delectable treats for breakfast (and for sumptuous dinners, should you have a large enough group and request dinner..). There are paddleboats and kayaks in the...

Thank you for a fabulous review. I look forward to your group returning every Fall, and was glad to have you visit on your own. Every season is unique and offers many activities. And we are constantly working to maintain and improve the inn, so thank you for being so aware.

The Inn is a beautiful trip into the past. The rooms are comfortable and sweet. The king bed was awesome I slept like a baby. Dennis the owner is very friendly and accommodating. His dog Angel is so cute and very friendly . Breakfast was outstanding. The common rooms with fireplaces heating the rooms as we had cocktails before dinner...

As youngsters, we used to come to the Follansbee Inn when the Connors owned it. 40 years later we returned and found an awesome B&B! Owner Denis is such an awesome cook as our Breakfast today include a Frittata made of leeks, goat cheese and prosciutto (yum), seasoned roasted potatoes and "better than Krispy Kreme" homemade donuts, and fresh strawberries...

Thank you, and great to have you back after such an extended absence. We host many family reunions at Follansbee Inn, many who return every year to gather together in the common rooms and at the lake. It is the perfect environment. Hope to see you again.

Quality remains top offering at this New Hampshire Inn. One hundred years ago, my father and his parents travelled from 1915-25 to spend summers here in what began as a farm house with food supplied by adjoining farm. 40-50 visitors would come with children to swim, boat, and play . Our recent visit finds a fabulous opportunity to eat fabulous...

Thank you, it was an unforgettable experience to meet you and discuss your father's history with the inn. He obviously loved the inn and the area. I believe this area maintains the same charm that so enamored your father.

This is a lovely old B&B right on small Kezar Lake. The owner Denis is more than accommodating, providing wonderful hot breakfasts and advice and directions to nearby site seeing. We took advantage of the free bikes to ride around the lake the second morning. With the leaves coming into full color it was wonderful. We liked our rooms and...

Thank you for your kind words. Every season is unique but it surely is hard to beat the beautiful falls. And Kezar Lake is exceptionally beautiful with the brilliant colors displayed on the surrounding mountains.

Never thought it could happen but .... a holiday hotel/inn/B&B with no gripes or even nit-picks! Owner Denis the sort of host you always hope get, but rarely do. His individualistic breakfast dishes were superbly crafted, with option of fruit or cereals if you didn't fancy it. Room: spotless, comfortable. Bathroom: all you need, with great, easy to operate shower....

Thank you for a wonderful review with no nit-picks! We do our best to make everyone's a memorable, wonderful stay and part of the charm of a stay is, as you say, the absence of TV. Of course with the WiFi guests can stream for their own convenience.

My wife and I decided last minute to find a stayover/ B and B when we attended a wedding last weekend. Denis was quick to respond to our request for a family suite. Price was reasonable. Thank you for your wonderful review. We pay much attention to breakfast, always making it a treat. The donuts are something new I've been working on that have developed into a guest favorite. When you return be sure to remind me and I'll serve the praline bacon, always a guest favorite.
