We spent 2 great nights at the inn. Our host, Denis, was warm and welcoming and helpful, while also respecting our privacy. Every effort was made to consider all comforts, from bottles of water to bowls of candies, board games & in-room heaters for those cool NH nights. Kezar lake across the street provided a beautiful view and recreation. All...

Thank you so much for your kind review. We are always conscious of guest's privacy concerns yet we wish to interact, so it's nice to hear recognition of our doing so well with the balance. And we do try to make our guests comfortable and in room heaters, giving guests control of their level of warmth, is an important consideration.

My grown daughter and I just enjoyed a two day stay at Follansbee Inn. We were warmly greeted, and everyone made us feel special. The Inn feels cozy and there is great care in making the common areas comfortable; the staff is thoughtful. And the food! Oh my, breakfast was a true delight. Many, many thanks.

Our children treated us to two relaxing and cozy nights at the Follansbee Inn just at winter's end 2015. Without hesitation, accommodations were made for our late arrival Friday night, and all weekend we felt the personalized attention and warmth from owner Denis and his gracious staff Grace and Brandon. Our room was bright, comfortable, and clean with tasteful period...

Thank you for taking the time to write such a wonderful, positive review and thank your children for giving you such a thoughtful gift. We often have guests who stay with us when a family member or friend gives them a gift certificate, and those guests are always very grateful for the gift. Please do return for the summer or...

A stay at this Inn brings you back in time. Each room was beautifully appointed, clean and inviting. The breakfasts were outstanding. The young girl managing the inn for the owner was friendly and greeted us upon arrival, showing us to our room, even offering to carry my bag. The gas fireplace in one of the common rooms was a...

Thank you Louise for your kind review. I hope you do return to Follansbee to experience the other seasons here, each is unique and the inn is a wonderful place to experience them. Thank you for your kind review, and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at Follansbee. We had a few big weekend storms this winter like the one you experienced. I was at the Follansbee Inn for a quick visit for an old friends wedding, the rooms were charming and the common areas quaint and comforting with fires in wood stove lending just right atmosphere. the breakfast buffet was simple but delicious: sausage and mushroom frittata, homemade blueberry muffins (dusted with cinnamon sugar) and fresh squeezed oj. I would highly...

Thank you Amy for your great review. The wedding weekend was a lost of fun. As you probably remember we actually had 75 guests for breakfast that morning. A bit more than normal (Follansbee holds about 36 when full) but a lot of fun, especially for everyone in the wedding party as it allowed them to socialize the morning after.

We arrived at the Follansbee Inn after riding 60km through the Fall foliage along the Northern Rail Trail. Keysar Lake is the perfect location, and the understated, authentic hospitality of Denis Swords something special. You can get hungry after a days riding. A subtle knock on our door at 7pm signaled dinner was ready. We walked down to the dining...
