Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
My husband and I just stayed in one of the smaller cottages it was our first time at this location (first time in the area as adults) and it was a great experience.
Check in process was simple with clear instructions. The room was clean (as well as the entire property), everything functioned as it should. The towel/toiletries replenishment process was easy. There is not house keeping during your stay in the sense they don't come in your "room" and clean daily which is something I actually prefer.
The few interactions we had with the staff members were all pleasant. We did not use the pool during our stay, but did see it be cleaned daily.
The location is great because you are within walking distance to the downtown area, but far enough away that you can relax and have some peace. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and just relaxing.
While we loved our stay, it is worth mentioning that this is a classic cottage near a lake in NH, this is not an all inclusive luxury resort in Malibu. So do not expect it to be.
If we visit the area again we would likely book another stay here if it was available.

Wife and I recently stayed here at Weirs Beach Motel and Cottages. We stayed in the motel section. It was very retro, very 1960's, which I loved. It has a functioning fridge, microwave, and TV. The Wifi was very strong, much to my surprise. The room was spotless and the management was more than generous with supplying towels and toiletries upon request. While we didn't use the pool, we also noticed how very clean it was. It was also a short walk from the attractions of Weirs Beach. My only gripe was limited parking and a slightly confusing setup. This prevents me from giving it a 5 star review. They also had old style keys to the rooms, which didn't bother, and "contactless" check in...which I always find annoying. But aside from that, I do recommend this motel. If you're looking for the modern, up to date, resort style rooms, then you need to keep looking. But if you're just looking for clean, comfortable accommodations, then this place is for you!

We must have stayed in the same cottage as the previous reviewer. My husband and I found the slating floor like those in a fun house. We could except this, but the futon was impossible to sit on. I did ask to move, but all they had was the cottage next door, so we assumed it would have the same issues of the floor. Otherwise, the cottage was clean, had a large microwave, the usual small refrigerator, no freezer for our ice packs or shelves to hold the food,but it served the purpose. A picnic table with an umbrella for eating outside. No contact for checking in or out which was fine with me. Walking distance to the boardwalk, train ride and MT Washington Cruise and a very nice cafe. We did not use the pool so I don’t know how that was. I’m sure the other units were nicer, but I don’t think we will go again.

This place was terrible. On arriving the room smelled like bug spray. The beds and furniture where broken down. We needed toilet paper and there was never anyone at the office. It was quite expensive. We rented for three nights and only stayed for two it was so bad.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We have not had any reports of any broken furniture in any rooms, and no report of a "bug spray" odor. We would have been happy to have addressed any issues while you were onsite if they had been reported. Due to covid-19 restrictions regarding social distancing and safety of our guests and staff per the governor's orders, we have implemented a contactless system for towel and supply replenishment. Each room has a laundry basket and supply item list that may be put outside the room each day by noon for refreshment. (each basket has signage explaining the process) We can also always be reached via telephone. Again, we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay.

I could deal with size and unlevel floors but, for $325 per night the furniture was unbearable. A cheap worn out mattress on a cheap worn out box spring on the floor. The linenes are cheap and disgusting. Could not sit on the couch, it was 12 " from the floor and the springs poked you in the a$$.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We did not receive any reports about any of these issues during your stay, or we would have been happy to have addressed them to improve your stay. There are no box springs located on the floor in any of our rooms, as all have bed frames, so we do not know what is referred to with this comment. All linens and towels are industry standard, and maintained in the same manner as any hotel. A few of the rooms have futons, but we have not received any reports about them not being functional. Again, we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay, and would suggest that you report any room issues to the front desk while you are onsite in the future so the management can assist you during your stay.

Family of 6, stayed in the Deluxe cottage. It was very spacious. It is with in walking distance of weirs beach strip. A few minute drive to fun spot. We were barely in the cottage, so much to do! It was hard to gage customer service due to COVID(we were told prior to arrival there would be no face to face contact with staff), I did get kind and prompt responses from texting and there was specific instructions in the cabin if you needed something. These cottages are essential, if you are looking for a 5 star resort, this place is not for you. The cleanliness I would give a 7 out of 10. My family will stay here again.

The cottage was clean and staff were friendly. The pool was great and immaculately kept. Location is excellent; about a three minute walk to downtown Weir’s Beach. We will definitely stay at this location again.

Cute cottages at the end of Lakeside Avenue. Nice and quiet and very affordable. Perfect place to walk to the action and walk to the water. Nice little porch and working propane BBQ for each cottage. Nice to be able to cook outside and eat on the cheap, though dining in Weirs Beach isn't too pricey. Very cozy atmosphere and there are larger cottages for bigger families.

We have been in contact with the motel to book the whole motel, houses, and cottages for my brothers wedding in July. Originally they were going to have it on Nascar weekend but decided to move the date to a week after. The motel said that would be no problem and it would actually be cheaper to book for the following weekend. Everything was all set and deposits have been paid when we get an email yesterday stating that they did not realize the resort was booked to another group and they would have to cancel all of the reservations for my brothers wedding. Here we are 3 months away from the wedding with no rooms. She will not answer any of the phone calls. She did not even have the stones to call us to admit her mistake, she sent an email then cancelled all of the reservations. We have called several times and she will not return the calls. My brother and my future are good people, my brother is retired military who helps disabled vets get their benefits. Do not do business with this resort. They will lie to you and they will not return phone calls. We will be seeking legal action.

As was communicated to you and your party on several occasions, the motel was sold to new owners, and due to a miscommunication during the transaction, the new owners were unaware of the previous booking for the dates in question. Your party was originally reserved for a different date, AND THEN CHANGED BY YOU, so we felt it was only fair to honor the original reservations for the time slot in question, as we do not have the availability to honor both parties. You and your wedding party did NOT pay any deposits, and the two guests who had paid deposits were refunded in full immediately upon notification. We contacted another hotel which was closer in proximity to your venue, had plenty of availability for a large party of your size, and had more economical rates for your group - you and others in your party were informed with their telephone number and the person to speak with concerning group sales. We have apologized for the inconvenience, and we found you another lodging accommodation, so your review is unfounded, and your lengthy, harassing emails and telephone messages, and social media attacks by you and your family members and friends, are not warranted, appreciated, or deserved.

Stayed one night (wish we could have stayed two), did the Dinner/Dance Cruise. Just a short walk from the hotel which we love walking. The hotel was clean, enjoyed where it was located, management was very friendly, helpful. The price was great, loved the area, we lucked out with great weather. We will go back, the dinner/dance cruise was great and will stay at the same hotel, maybe even try one of the cottages.

Visit Weirs Beach or walk along the boardwalk and pier. Dine on the Mount Washington Cruise Ship watching the sun slip into the lake or take one of the 2 hour morning cruises. Take a scenic train tour. Swimming, boating, golf, arcades, fireworks, paintball, hiking trails, tax-free shopping, wonderful restaurants, and even a drive-in theater!
There are more places to choose from in the Weirs Beach area.
