We stayed here a couple of days when we were attending concerts at the Bank of NH Pavilion. It was very convenient to that!! We stayed in a King Cottage which was immaculate and furnished very nicely. Having a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker were also nice to have available. We had a great view of the lakes from our private porch. Parking for the cottages was next to each cottage which was extremely convenient. There are several points of interest that are walkable from this property as well as several that are a short drive. The general area has many food choices for takeout and dining as well as supermarkets etc. The owners are very friendly, helpful and informative. I am looking forward to returning with my husband in the fall.

Enjoyed another wonderful visit , and brought more family with us this time . We stayed in the motel rooms, it was a large room with all the amenities you would expect, and spotless! The refrigerator is larger than the little dorm type fridges. Stayed on the second floor, views from the deck were lovely . We were there in the middle of a heat wave, and the salt water pool was so refreshing . Loved that there were all ages there. There are even floats in the pool for everyone to use. The owners, Kirk and Clover are always around, and there to answer any questions you may have. Housekeeping staff was also very friendly, and did a great job. There’s such a peaceful vibe there, from the owners dogs stopping by to say hello, to the Adirondack chairs to sit and watch the view, a lovely firepit with ample chairs to sit around. An added plus is the little pathway to Kellerhaus right next door for ice cream! Easy walk to weirs boardwalk. Looking forward to returning again next year !

The Grand View Resort was a huge hit with our family, and our pup! We have never traveled with our dog, but upon learning that the cottage we reserved was pet friendly, we decided to bring her a long. The owners made that decision a very easy one! Reese was a little nervous about traveling at first, but she adjusted very quickly. She loved that there were other dogs there to play with, and she felt like a VIP when the owner let her lounge in her “sprinkler spa” (a/k/a, the best hose ever!).
We love finding spots where you can combine laid back relaxation, and adventure, and this spot nailed it! We loved the saltwater pool, the path to get ice cream, and the brew pub around the corner. The resort is located close to Meredith and to other sections of Laconia. After we left, we decided to explore some of the towns around the lake. They were all beautiful, but we would not hesitate to return to this location in the future!

We booked a last minute getaway for 3 nights in an adorable and immaculate cabin overlooking Weirs Beach on Lake Winnipesaukee. The owners, Clover and Kurt have done a marvelous job renovating this hidden treasure. We relaxed in their heated saltwater swimming pool that has vistas of the lake. Lots of new lounge chairs and plenty of umbrellas. Pool towels are in a big bin in the pool area. There is a "secret-private path" to the popular ice cream store just though the woods. Yum Gas grills are available and picnic tables on the grounds. The bathrooms are newly remodeled and generous size. They provide a coffee pot and decaf and regular coffee. We opted to bring our keurig because we drink a lot of coffee... I even brought my own special mug and I thoroughly Cherished the quiet mornings on the front porch watching the glistening sun over the lake. We found lots to do in the area. One night we had turkey dinners at Hart's. Our take home portions gave us a tasty turkey and stuffing lunch the next day. One day we went tubing on the Saco River in Conway. The ride was less than an hour and a beautiful scenic drive. Yesterday it rained so we went to Meredith to a movie followed by window shopping and AMAZING dinner at Lago on the lake.
Our cabin had 2 Queen beds.
Hope to return next summer. This was a perfect vintage Lakeview vacation.

I had a wonderful stay at the Grand View with my teenage daughter and grandparents. Incredible views, extremely clean and beds are comfortable. While swimming in the pool you have a view of Winnipesaukee lake and mountains. If you are a morning person, the sunrise is unbelievable as it peeks over the mountains. Clover and Kirk are gracious hosts they gave us excellent recommendations for dinner and things to do in the area. I will definitely be back!

My boyfriend and I rented a cottage for a few nights here. As soon as we walked in, the owners were present and really helpful. Gave us info on what's around for food and fun. We parked the car when we got there and barely needed to use it - walked to Weir's Beach and the pier, hung out by the docks and spent some time in the arcades. The only time we had to drive was for food, which we went to a few different restaurants that were at most 10 minutes away. The view at the resort is BEAUTIFUL. We can't wait to come back.

Our family stayed in one of the newly renovated cabins. It was beautifully done, and had a cute little porch with a wonderful view of the lake. The owners are so friendly and helpful. The pool was a big hit with all our family. The owners even provide a speaker if you want to play music while you’re out there. There is a candy store/ice cream parlor that you can walk to next-door. The boardwalk and beach or a very short ride. The worlds largest old school arcade is nearby. There are also lots of restaurants and stores for groceries a short distance away. We cannot say enough about the beautiful setting and wonderful cabin. Everyone staying in the cabins has a big smile on their face because it is such a relaxing and enjoyable place to be. It was a magical trip.

My friend and have stayed here 3 times already. These people are wonderful. Every time we come up they always make us feel like old friends/family. Last year we brought dogs with us. One was very new to me and wasn't used to being in a crate. They went out of their way to take him out and hang out with him and they gave me a lead for the other dog that was with us so she could be outside. The pool is a heated salt water pool. Everything is always clean. Kids can pretty much just run around and have fun. We've stayed in the Motel part as well as the Cottages. I just can't say enough wonderful things about these people, the facilities and the view!

This a great getaway with a view and a half of the lake. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Clover and Kirk are an excellent hostess and host. The pool is heated and clean and has clean towels available. We stayed in a regular room. Clover showed us the room with the lake view and it is really a nice space with a fridge stove and kitchen ware. We will definitely recommend this place and will stay here again when in the area.

My husband and I enjoyed a couple nights at the Grand View with our dog Milo.. the owners were so friendly and accommodating! The room was updated and comfortable, and the huge yard with fire pit left lots of room for dogs to play. The views are expansive and grand, and you can sit on the huge wrap around porch to enjoy. Ask for wine glasses, they have many things available. We also enjoyed the gas fire pit as well as a real fire another night. Can’t wait to return and use the new heated pool that is being built!!

No, there is not. The hotel sits on a hill above town so it has beautiful views of the lake, but no direct access. The owners have done a great job with the property and it’s in a convenient location.
Late August is a great time to go. Most family vacations have come and gone so the area is not over crowded. I can't make the call on availability. I recommend placing a call ( 603-366-4973 )
hopefully Kirk or Clover co owners will be there if they are not they are very good at getting back to you. Also their go online and check their website is there you can also make reservations.
