This hotel has nice views from the front porch - but that's the only good thing I can say about it. The main problem was that it has only one, old fashioned elevator, which someone has to operate for you. When luggage was coming in, they of course were using the elevator, so we could not - so had to...

Pros - This was an amazingly beautiful location, and we only left once to grab pizza in town because the on site restaurants were very good (beautiful views if you sat near the windows, and a pretty good variety of menu items), and there were a lot of activities to keep us entertained and busy (definitely try axe throwing!). We...

Dear Jayme S, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We personally examine every Trip Advisor post and guest survey, as the feedback of our guests is highly valued. We stayed here for only one night, and would love to come back to stay again. We had a king room, directly over the front porch with the most amazing views. The staff was excellent, the food (both dinner and breakfast) was terrific. If you stay, book the rooms with a view or you might be looking at the back...

The hotel has amazing view but poor front desk customer service. My room is next to the hand operated elevator which makes extremely loud noise. I was woken up by the noise at 4:30am this morning. It feels like an earthquake when the elevator is used. I can hear the luggages slammed across the wall as if it comes toward...

My family stayed at the hotel in August 2014 for a few days. We expected a nice little getaway, uneventful, calm... We arrived late one afternoon, walked the grounds a bit, had a pleasant dinner, and went to bed. The next morning, by nine a.m. it was evident the hotel had no water. At the front desk, I learned that...

This place is incredible. The building is beautifully restored. When staying here, you feel as though you are traveling back in time. The resort offers a myriad of activities, excellent food, impeccable service and amazing views. My fiance and I have stayed here several times, mostly in the winter for snowmobiling. We love it so much, our wedding is set...

I cannot believe the negative reviews of this place. I am sitting on the front verandah and cannot wait to return next year! Folks, this place is a restored gem. Dear azleigh, Thank you for your considerate review. Your kind remarks about the resort are appreciated. While the Tower Spa does not have it's own sauna and jacuzzi, the resort does have both located in the indoor pool area. We hope you will return for another visit so you can enjoy these amenities.
