Worst Hotel

The room was nasty - it smelled like a mixture between moth balls and weed. The towels were dirty and stained, mold in the bathroom, and either a blood or feces stain on the outside of the bathtub. Walls were extremely thin - with the room attached and outside. Also, no continental breakfast offered. Should have gone to the hotel next door

It's going to be a long night

We didn't planned to stay there, but it was getting late. Was bummed by the 140$ price, especially once we got into our old, out of date room. It's almost a 70s colonial look It was cold, so I turned the heat on, but had to turn it off because no Mather what temperature I've set it on, it would continue to heat the place. Hope we won't freeze tonight. Room 102 gives you the very unpleasant feeling of sleeping in the street with the road noise so intense inside the room. Plus you have the added bonus of the vending machine noise right in front of the room. Should have tryed an other place, writing this as I'm tryed to fall asleep

First class employees

We were staying next door to this motel, and found ourselves in need of eating utensils after bringing carry out food back to our room….but there were no eating utensils in the bag! The Red Roof Inn that we were staying at couldn’t help us with plastic utensils, so we walked across the parking lot to this hotel and the front desk manager was able to offer us a few of her personal utensils. Thank you EconoLodge…you have first class employees!

Great

Friendly staff and very clean. Worth the money you pay for its amenities. I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a comfortable luxury stay in lower New Jersey. Located close to multiple stores and diners.

Just what we needed

We checked in late as we didn’t get into town until 10pm the clerk working the front desk was very courteous and helpful. No it’s not some 5 star resort but that is not what we needed for this trip. All we needed was a clean room, hot shower, and comfy place to sleep & that is exactly why we received. Upon entering the room it was your basic hotel room, it didn’t smell musty at all and was very clean, you could actually smell a slight residual of Clorox in the bathroom which was comforting and let me know that it really was clean. At first hour TV did not work/I was punch drunk from it being late and just couldn’t figure out how to operate it I called the front desk the gentleman came right away and helped us out. The next morning we stop by the lobby for your basic breakfast which was perfect for me as usually all I can eat in the morning as of late is an English muffin or a piece of toast (thank you morning sickness!) the older gentleman at the front desk checked with us to make sure everything was OK with our room last night and if there was anything he could do for us this morning. Which caught me off guard as I did not expect it but was very pleased with it. Upon returning back to room the 2ed night there was a guest outside our hotel room smoking which was being sucked into our AC vent I notified the front desk clerk who took care of it right away without any hesitation or upsetting the other guest. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re just need a place to crash that’s clean, with comfy beds & a courteous staff. …

Would not suggest

High price for sheets with holes in them, old carpet, weird thin bedspread, noise from tractor trailer trucks, office chair with holes in it, and overall feeling that I am getting some asbestos related condition from the disintegrating office ceiling tiles in bathroom or spray popcorn ceiling in bedroom. On the other hand, friendly and wonderful staff. Price is high, but comparable to super 8 in town. Still - sheets with holes in them?? (See pictures.) That’s something that will make me never come back here. Staff pull this out of a one rating.

Reunion

The hotel catered to my needs and went above and beyond for me. I left my new chromecast behind and they held it for me till I could get it at front desk. The rooms were clean and breAkFast was ok nothing special.

Decent Stay

We had booked a non-smoking bed room for 2. The hotel is near to Camden Adventure Aquarium. Though the room was small, but was well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast which is complimentary was good. The only reason i give 4 rating, the room is facing the road and bit noisy in the night. Apart from that everything was good and worth the money paid.

Eh its alright

Looked super clean but then shower screen was broken , we turned the heater on and it started smoking and fire alarm went off. Also, the door didn't have the extra lock. Smell was fine and bed's were fine but kind of dirty.

Dirty and outdated

The exterior is filthy and some areas in poorly maintained condition. The room has broken fixtures, no chair to relax in and there are stains on the ceiling. The interior of the room doesn't look like it's been updated in years. The fake stucco looks horrible and the bedding is old and worn. The worst part, is you have to leave a deposit at the front desk because they verify everything is in the room at checkout. You cannot use a credit card for it and they refuse to give you a receipt for the cash. This is by far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in and I will not be back.
