We stay at the hotel or the cottages every year- lovely, homey look and feel- Close to everything you could ask for in Cape May. Service is friendly and attentive. The common areas offer a fireplace, verandas, a bar and fine restaurant. Love that it is a supporter of the arts at the New Jersey shore.

I made reservations at the Virginia hotel. We stayed in the Red Cottage on the top floor . This was for our 24th anniversary. We have never stayed in a bed-and-breakfast before this place was amazing, quaint and the view was breathtaking. It was well worth walking up all the stairs. Everything was perfect. We also ordered the continental breakfast...

Lucette, Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback. I'm delighted that you enjoyed your stay and our accommodations at the Red Cottage! I was especially pleased to see that you enjoyed our complimentary continental breakfast delivered to the room, and will be sure to highlight your kind review to our continental servers. Thank you for...

The Virginia Hotel is a 2 star hotel disguised as a 3 star (maybe 4). The staff was rarely helpful, the front desk was vacant half the time I needed assistance, etc. Sort of overpriced for the "viriginia experience" pfff. An overall unsatisfactory vibe was picked up and probably won't be returning. Staff needs to become less jaded and arrogant if...

We stayed at the Pink Cottage and the room was clean and comfortable, but definitely not the one shown in the picture at the time of booking! It was much smaller than expected and located on the third floor. The queen sized bed seemed smaller than normal. Linens were immaculate and bathroom was very clean and spacious. Valet parking was...

This hotel is an old Victorian building one block from the beach. We stayed on the third floor but beware there is no elevator & lots of steep stairs. Our room was spotless, large & quiet. The bed was very comfortable & having breakfast delivered to our room was truly a delight. The hotel restaurant serves the most wonderful burgers...

Our stay was pleasant enough, the price in the Pink Cottage, although substantially lower than the main building, still provided great comfort in a decently sized room with private bath. Parking is a real issue. They do provide valet parking, but then you do not have ready access. There is parking in the back, but we were told we couldn't...

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend in the Virginia's Pink Cottage...the room was very nice but there were no instructions for the remote that controlled the ceiling fan and heat so we didn't have quite the temperature control we wanted. Was great to have a choice for our continental breakfast that was delivered to our room. The location...

Classical, well maintenance small hotel. We stayed in the back up front house, The Red Cottage, Turret Room. Kindly they updated our initial reservation after hectic confusion with our initial Congress Hall room. It was very pleasant service at the Ebbit Room. We had a great time after all. Thank you for working hard to make our experience a positive...

A great old Victorian Hotel, beautiful inside and outside. Only a block from the ocean, only a block from Washington Street Mall, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, great location. Complimentary breakfast which you can have delivered to your room is not extravagant but it suffices, there own made granola is excellent! Our room seemed to be lacking adequate heat...

A wonderfully quaint and historic property with friendly staff, well appointed, with comfy and clean rooms. Unfortunately the room we had (210) was next to the ac plant and suffered from loud bangs and noise throughout the night leading to a very low quality of sleep hence the average mark. Given that sleep is usually high on my requirements for...
