We have been coming to Camp Taylor at least once a year for about 7 years now and absolutely love it! We usually go with a group of friends/family and book sites 59 and 60 together. There's a lot of room and privacy, but it's also close enough to the lake and bathrooms. We've even met some campers in nearby...

We love Camp Taylor! Nice, large private wooded sites. Stream and a lake, swimming and boating. Trails and attractions. This campground has it all! The Junkin (antiquing) in the area isn't bad either.

We are new to the world of RV camping and this was our first destination!! We drove nearly 8 hours to arrive here and were thrilled with our choice. I had asked for "as private as possible" when I called to reserve and we were delighted with our site!! (71). We packed up to woods and were surrounded by the...

The orientation is not complete, the rules are not clearly communicated and you will get hit with unexpected fines. All they care about is MONEY. BEWARE of the shameless operators who have no courtesy of talking to their guests. ------------- We had reserved 2 campsites. On the day of arrival, we were not briefed completely- in fact we were tagged...

Thank you for taking the time to review our campground. It is clear from your review that you had enjoyed your stay and planned to return, but are angry that we choose to only welcome back campers respectful of our rules. As we do with everyone who comes in to register for camping, we physically highlight the rules as they...

If you are not here to party up a storm and make a lot of ruckus, you will have a great time! We went swimming in the lake (pecked at by little sunfish); visited Lakota Wolf Preserve; and saw wildlife. You get a discounted price for wolf preserve when you camp here. Yes, mosquitoes bit, but that's what happens outdoors....

What a good camping experience for families. There is a lake to swim in, with kayaks and paddle boats to use and a nice hiking trail that leads to the Wolf Preserve. They do get very busy on weekends so call ahead first to make sure they have an opening. Also, they did have free Wifi for email and internet...

Well this is my seventh time at Camp Taylor and every time I stay... I LOVE IT MORE!!! The sites are CLEAN, beautiful surroundings, lots of trees in-between sites. Don't pay attention to the GPS to get there when your close, get directions from the website! It'll help. Our family camped at Camp Taylor many years ago and had an enjoyable stay, life just never brought us back until recently. Our stay this time was just as enjoyable this time. We were with a larger party of young adults...

My wife and I loved Camp Taylor. We were fully stocked to camp on our own with no campsight, but loved the fact there was a General Store/facilities right up front with everything imaginable including Ice Pops/Ice Cream being so hot. We quickly succumbed to the store and Greatly appreciated the conveniences, including Hot Showers and descent bathrooms. The park...

We wanted a "nearby" campground to check out our equipment prior to heading out to Utah for a week. After searching through many dreadful reviews (primarily restrain/shower facilities) we found Camp Taylor. Yes, there are rules as others mention, but every campground has them. Camp Taylor takes them seriously so you can be assured a pleasant stay - no rowdies...
