Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is in a great location to attend any MetLife Stadium function; however, you have to either drive or use a ride share to get there. You cannot walk; and getting back is a nightmare with road closures. The hotel staff is kind, interested in seeing that you enjoy your stay and takes great interest in you being happy. It was a good choice.

Even during the Mayors Ball going on. The hotel was a great shape. Parking lot needs some attention and the large SUVs need not be right in the middle of the parking lot and service area Rooms were very clean and very quiet In what seems to be a very busy area we had a very restful two days at the Hilton Medowlands. Terrible hotel but an 8 minute drive to American Dream Mall. If you don’t care about the quality of your hotel stay and don’t care about the value of what it is that you’re paying for then go for it… I’ll never stay there again though.

Stayed at this property for one night , after visiting the American Dream mall . Met Doris at check in, she was very polite and professional, we chatted a while about the property and little about south Florida. She acknowledged me as a Hilton Diamond member and thanked me for our loyalty as members. She proceeded to upgrade my room to a higher floor Manhattan view . Was an extremely nice upgraded clean room . Next morning they had a full buffet breakfast, the employees were extremely friendly. My only complaint for my stay is we were told my wife and I both got a $15 credit for breakfast and/or Starbucks, upon arriving back home my emailed receipt on showed a $15 credit not a $30 credit that was promised. Someone at the front desk dropped the ball. We will return to this property soon.…

Overall we had a pleasant stay and the hotel was right across from the American Dream mall. There is a good view of it frm the hotel. One word of caution there is no food after hours!! They have a Starbucks and a convenience shop but both close early. We were all hungry and looking to get a snack at the vending machine only to find out there is none in the entire hotel!! There were several of us guests who were all searching for something to eat n being told there was no option for food or drinks anywhere within walking distance!! The elevators were also tricky as at times there was a long line to get on them!!

Team at front desk were generally unhelpful and did not acknowledge you when directly in front of the guest. Team members not in uniform, drinking behind the desk and talking to each other rather than focussing on guests. Advised that I could not use my food and beverage credit in Starbucks when this was the case. Advised that breakfast buffet was not operating when this was not the case and a full breakfast was offered. Rooms are modern and a good location for American Dream mall and Met Life Stadium. Front desk team were unhelpful and everything was an effort when making polite and straightforward requests.

It all started with a great welcoming receptionist called Mina. He is very friendly, professional and nice. The hotel is at a great location if you are flying to/from Newark (20 min) and/ or if you at heading to MetLife Stadium. Choose a room with a NY skyline view…they are the best. Rooms are good. One more time, thanks Mina for showing great hospitality.

I am a lifetime Diamond member so I have a lot of comparative experience with Hilton properties and unfortunately this was one of the poorest experiences I’ve had with a Hilton property. They changed my rate from $155 to $250 per night and finally honored the original rate after quite a bit of rancor (hotel was arguing with Diamond desk who had copy of original quoted rate). Breakfast buffet was an embarrassment for Hilton brand, many Hamptons I’ve stayed at which much better; service in restaurant very slow and poor; every morning (3 during my stay) I received a letter slid through the bottom of my door that “due to unforeseen circumstances, no housekeeping today”. The property itself looks like it hired college kids to paint it etc. Carpet on floor was pulling up. Furniture had been painted white but seems they simply painted over old polyurethane. Really had the quality of a dorm room. This is only the second review I’ve written in 7 years so that gives some perspective on how bad this hotel is. Don’t book here, save some money and stay at Hampton / Fairfield Inn and enjoy better experience.…

Very dated and needs renovations desperately. While arriving with four children we were told that we could not get adjoining rooms which I did request when I booked hotel. One of the rooms smelled of marijuana so bad I had to switch rooms. The bathrooms were moldy and floors had hair on them. The room smelled musty and the carpet was dirty. When I received my receipt at checkout someone had charged $97 to my room fraudulently. Check your bill.
