Not a bad hotel by any means just typically American and where much can be improved on, in my opinion. Breakfast is very basic or just crap, and although it says its served on classic dining wear is in fact served on single use polystyrene plates with single use plastic cutlery and not the normal plates as per the leaflets in the room suggest, also the single use plastic cups in the rooms are covered in single use plastic bags as are the 10% recycled cardboard cups in the rooms, Why not use normal cups that can be cleaned and re-used? My stay has however highlighted that my visit to the US has been tainted by the fact it's probably one of the largest and leading poluters in the modern world and the pathetic excuse by Raddison to say that it is helping to protect the environment is actually bollocks! On the other hand the bar staff were friendly . .

Due to a weather delay at our destination, United provided us with hotel vouchers to stay at this location

What I liked: Friendly staff who actually worked with us to find a room for our larger group to all sleep in the same room, rather than having to use two rooms/two vouchers. Ok size room, with standard room amenities. Really short stay so cannot fully comment on all amenities

What to watch for/could be improved: The airport shuttle was a bit of a joke... too small to accomodate all the people, with no desire to speed things up. Had to Uber to the property so that we could catch some sleep for what would be a short night. Same thing the next morning. Temperature control in the room was hit and miss (on the cold side). Sofa bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Overall smell of cheap cleaning products...

Ok, if this is a complimentary stay, but would not go out of my way to stay there if out of pocket expenses

The reasons why I picked this hotel were:
1) Breakfast included
2) Free shuttle to Newark Liberty Airport
3) Proximity to 2 restauranrs
4) The Mills at Jersey Gardens Mall across the street

I checked in around 2100 on Jan 31. I asked for late checkout as my flight did not leave until 1815 Feb 1. I was told to inquire about late checkout at 08 Feb 1 and that it was first come first serve! Fair enough.

The room was ok. There were 2 queen beds in the room. I found the bed to be comfortable but not the pillows. The biggest negative for me was how loud the ventilation system was. Even ear plugs could not drown out the ventilation noise. I had a ok sleep. Not a great sleep.

In the morning I noticed the wear and tear on the chair at the desk. It was kind of gross. A tile was missing in the bathroom near the corner on the bottom.

The breakfast was ok. Not the best but not the worst either!

Ok it’s time to go ask for late checkout. Regular checkout time is at 1200. I was granted late checkout for 1400. I would have liked 1500 but nope. I go out and return at 1340. I asked if I could possibly have checkout at 1430. Nope. I am told at the very latest 1415! Ok well I better hurry then. I hurry upstairs. My key card has been deactivated! I go downstairs, and wait in line to get it reactivated. There is another customer in front of me. He got there first, he should get his card done first. The same staff member looks at me, reactivates my card and states you have limited time!!!! Yes I am aware of that, I manage to check out 1405ish!, The staff member says to me when I hand in my key card, oh I said you could stay later. Another 10-15 minutes. Whoopee do. No thanks, I will go hang out at the Business Class Lounge at the airport. Unless the hotel was at full capacity, would a 1500 checkout make a huge difference. Housekeeping was busy 3 doors down. Hmmm I guess I will never know...

The shuttle service was very efficient. There was only 1 other person on the shuttle.

Would I stay at this hotel again. Maybe????? There are so many hotels to choose from in the same price range or maybe pay a little bit more! That will teach me!! Lesson learned!

Friendly on arrival, free shuttle and comfortable clean rooms.. breakfast was good better than another’s in this chain.. for one night was perfect. About 10 Minns from the airport there are a few eating places nearby but had a food delivery

The wifi speed in the hotel is beyond ridiculous!
The speedtest.net gave the wifi speed of 104kbps.

I called the service desk and they suggested to purchase the premium wifi.
So, I went ahead and made a purchase for the premium wifi for I didn't mind $5 cost to it and guess what, the speed was just terrible at just 1 Mbps.

This was so shocking to me that I cancelled my booking within 15 mins of my stay.

The front desk was a little welcoming by the look but wasn’t greeted when entered. Once time to check-in the Moe clerk was very pleasant. When added another room the female clerk was pleasant as well. Room was nice and clean. This was just a couple days getaway for the hot tub. The hot tub button didn’t work, the toilet was very noisy when flushing and when booking over the phone with customer service, the price was different than what I was charged. What the rep fail to mention was there was a $20 charge per day for parking. Overall, I liked the room but customer service can be a little more welcoming and inform customers of all charges they would incur.

We choose to stay here to do some shopping before moving into NYC. The front desk staff were all chatting on their phones with ear buds in whilst serving us and I was never sure where they talking to me or their mates!
Nice foyer, decent well equipped room and large spacious bathroom. The worlds smallest annoying bath towels which don’t fit anyone!
When we checked we asked about breakfast and we’re told there was a grab and go but don’t worry ihop was next door! Breakfast was cereal or a bagel and some fruit. Weirdly the gym is open but the pool is closed due to Covid. Annoyingly they charge for parking and you can access the building from the rear car park to save you walking round.
You are aware of the flights overhead but once inside the room the noise is minimal. Nice deep carpets and curtains minimise any noise.

I waited over an hour to check in just standing in line with no one in front of me and at times 3 people behind the desk not acknowledging me or even telling me that they would be with me shortly. I finally got checked and went to my room to start my ten day stay . After day two I realized my air conditioning was not working and spoke with Bonnie who said that she would change my room the next day when she came in and she was writing herself a note not to forget . I never heard from her . Two more days go by I tell the person in the overnight I was having the same issue and without even apologizing or looking up my room she started saying “well there’s nothing I can do I’m the night manager and no one else is here” I said if you’re the night manager you should have a better attitude and at least act concerned. Anyways the next day I complained to a different desk person that my air was not working and he said he would send the engineer up to check . I was not there when the engineer came but the front desk person assured me it was fixed . I got to the room only to see that all that was done was the air was turned down from 70 to 68 and it was still hot . On my last night there I came in from being in 93 degree heat outside and went to my hot room . I then went back downstairs to complain and was told by a different desk person someone would be up in ten minutes to check my room . The desk person came up knocked on my door with a key stating that they are moving my room after 9 days me complaining they decided to move my room on my last night. Yes my new room was cool but the new room was sooooo dirty . I really didn’t even have the strength to complain again because I knew it would probably take them 9 days to do something about it smh . Also, even though government lifted order for pools to be closed , I was told the pool would not open until January of next year 2021 . Do not waste money on this hotel . The front desk clerks are not empowered to do anything seemingly except stand there and not help . !!

I chose this hotel because it offered a shuttle to the cruise terminal and an airport shuttle
Arriving from London, it wasn’t clear where the shuttle picked up from and a call to the hotel didn’t help much. It required a change of terminal, so we took a cab. I could have researched that better
Arriving at the hotel, while waiting to check in, I noticed there was no bar or restaurant. There was an unattended shop that sold drinks and snacks
Check in was the least professional experience I have ever had. The employee checking in seemed only to be interested in laughing with co workers apparently at various residents. I was asked twice if I had a car. I had been concerned about a $250 damage deposit, but maybe it’s just the clientele they expect here. It was returned promptly after checkout
The room was spacious, but the linens looked as though they hadn’t been ironed. It seemed clean enough apart from the bath, which had paint peeling off it and was too low to use as a bath. I had to move some furniture to get the plug for the coffee machine
The included breakfast was a selling point, but this was a dismal affair
Covid-19 has caused problems with food service over the past couple of years, but too often establishments seem to be using it as a cover for poor service. That’s how it appeared here. One server was working behind a Perspex screen. There were individual bowls of breakfast cereal, served with cartons of milk- not cold, Untoasted wrapped bagels with cream cheese, butter and preserves. Apple, orange or banana. Coffee, tea. Orange juice in a carton, which was partially frozen

The shuttle to Cape Liberty cruise terminal left fine. On return, we had to wait for over an hour for the shuttle to pick us up. The shuttle was from Courtyard by Marriott. If I’d known they had a cruise shuttle, I’d have stayed there

The hotel is fine if just staying for an early departure or late arrival but don’t expect anything luxurious. The water in the shower is hot, the wifi works but isn’t lightening speed, the airport shuttle was on time in the morning and runs every 30 minutes. Expect to pay for parking. Rate is now $20/night but is advertised less on the website.

When you check in you have to go to the desk and tell them you want to go to the port. We took the package where they watch the car when you were gone and gave you round trip to the port. But let them know when you get there . There were a bunch of others that went too. Coming back you have to keep an eye out he will be coming around . You will see like buses to the right he came on the left then drove around to get us. If you do not have the package there is a charge to go there and back. If you do not have a package they also charge you for parking . And there is an insane $250 deposit per room.

"The shuttle from the airport runs from Parking P4 only and might have other colours than announced. Might be a plain white sprinter. "
