All rooms are new nonsmoking, have a queen Serta bed, refrigerator, microwave, 50 inch plasma TV, 140 cable channels, 10 free HBO movie channels, free WiFi/Ethernet, and we have an outdoor swimming pool. We are located on the Manasquan Circle on Route 35; the closest motel to downtowns Manasquan, Sea Girt & Brielle; a few miles south of Belmar, a couple miles north of Point Pleasant, a couple of miles east of Brick and are close to beaches, 3 miles to Pt. Pleasant Boardwalk, nightclubs (Osprey, Leggetts, Bar Anticipation, Stone Pony) and 15 minutes from 6 flags Great Adventure.

My Sister and I went to NJ for 2 days of sun, and we got it! This little place is so cozy, old school. It's not the Ritz, but it is clean! We really enjoyed the pool, very clean and the water temp. was perfect. The only issue was the location, off a busy traffic circle, but I'm from NY, so I hit the gas pedal hard! Thanks Twin Oaks!

my name is Arik , I've stayed in this hotel as a tourist in Noveber 2017, the room was OK first night paid by VISA, but in the rest (2) nights paid cash (67$ each night) yet they charged my VISA for the other 2 nights, it took a few days for VISA to proceed the payment since I live outside of USA so I was outside of the area when found out about it and even then I refused to believe as I thought businesses in USA will never do that... obviously Iwas naive , tourists BE AWARE

Dear Arik; First off, thanks for writing the review. After more than 4 and 1/2 years does make it very hard to trace back. Motel/hotel usually charge customer the total of the amount on the first day so in your case there might had been that we were in the process of refunding your card when you decided to pay cash for the 2 nights. We spent one night here in order to attend a family gathering. The welcome in the office was congenial, and we really enjoyed the retro, mid-century vibe at this modest but obviously well-run property. Our spacious, comfortable room (15) was spotlessly clean and quiet. It had two queen beds with good, firm mattresses. The sparking outdoor pool was especially appealing. Though we didn't use them, it was great to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Our only regret was that there were no coffee-making facilities, so my husband had to trek on foot to a local Dunkin Donuts for morning coffee. But we were very glad to spend one night at the very clean, quiet Twin Oaks Motel, and we recommend it to other travelers to Manasquan.

i checked in about 3:00 last Saturday afternoon, dropped off my belongings and went to a friends nearby for dinner. When i returned at 11:00 and opened the door, i heard a voice say "hello"......i opened the door all the way and there was a gentleman laying on my bed, with a 1/2 full bottle of Vodka on the nightstand. The room smelled like a crowded bar at closing time. The manager was helpful, although it shouldn't have happened in the first place. The gentleman had stayed in that room the week before and never turned in his key. It was a pretty quick buzz kill, packing, and out of there to a nearby Hampton Inn. So, good luck if giving it a try.

I’m staying here temporarily looking 4 a permanent situation. Managers are nice & accommodating. Only issue is it says daily housekeeping & ive been here 2 weeks & room has not been cleaned once. Found cockroaches the 2nd night I stayed but haven’t seen anymore since, Thank God, know it can happen anywhere.

Why have carpets in pet friendly motel? Smells bad. Other wise it was okay. Close to places we wanted to go. Get rid of the carpet 🤮 beds were fine bathroom old. Whole place needs updating. I would stay again if they rip up the carpet. Biggest complaint

Made a reservation here last night for September 21. Website showed available, took my payment, received my confirmation email. This morning I received an email saying room is no longer available and was advised to cancel my reservation. I waited for a response as to why the room was no longer available, but have not heard anything back as if yet. I do, however, suspect it's because there is a music festival going on in a neighboring town and EVERY other hotel in the area is price gouging because of it. (Example: Marriot Fairfield Inn over $800.00', Budget Inn $654.00', a little dinky hotel that normally charges $79 a night is charging over $400!) A crime.

My apologies for so late of a response....when travelers book on third party accts. they are and you were not ever charged until check-in. Third party reservations can also conflict with previous reservations as the are booked thru a west coast time zone and can double book with east coast delay. We do reply to our customers e-mails as soon as we receive them. I am not giving an excuse I am just wanting to make sure that customers do understand that glitches in the system do happen. I am sorry that we were not able to take your reservation and hope we can accomodate you in the future.

Great place, Very clean, beds very comfortable. No problems. Front desk gentleman was very nice. Would book this place again ! Bathroom clean and plenty of towels. No complaints. Went to a wedding locally and this suited us perfectly.

We had a generally uneventful stay at Twin Oaks this past weekend. The hotel was clean and easy to find, with easy check-in and easy check-out. Parking is limited and very tight, especially if other vehicles are large and/or parked carelessly in their lot. There were guests in a nearby room who, until 11pm, sat outside whooping and hollering. The management did nothing to stop them, and that really isn't right for those of us who would have preferred a quiet place to stay.

Read the reviews and decided to make a reservation for a night as I was coming in from out of town. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the owner, Alicia, at the front desk. Very friendly and helpful. I was given my room key and headed to my room for some sleep. An older iconic hotel that has been here a long time but in a great location and used a lot for those visiting the Manasquan area. The room was clean and cozy, just a little tight in the bathroom but it worked out. A good place to relax when spending time in the area. Located on the circle, so don't pass it. Owners on site, so always there for you. Easy access near food, highways, and stores. Upon checking out, Alicia made me feel welcomed and said to come back when in the area, which I will do.
