We used Expedia to book the room, but I should have Googled it first to get realistic photos instead of the shiny photoshopped ones they post on the web. When we arrived at the motel we were greeted by a rude and unknowledgeable employee who had difficulty operating a computer and speaking English. he acted very rude and it seemed as if we were annoying him by trying to check in. The elevators were broke and me and my wife requested a first-floor room because she's pregnant but didn't receive one. The Neighbourhood the motel is in is relatively nice but the motel directly across the street, the Bel Air, is filled with questionable guests. The rooms themselves were fairly new and clean oh, that's why I'm giving it to Stars. There was no breakfast offered at this establishment, but at $50 it's a bargain and you get what you pay for.

Used Hotels.com to make the reservation; I called to verify the dog was allowed at no extra fee. We had no problems with the pet policy. Room was a fair size when you consider we were only intending to sleep there overnight and depart early the next day. Our first "non-smoking" room smelled of smoke and ash burns were all over the bed covers. They graciously allowed us to transfer rooms, but the door had a gap, allowing in light and noise so we could hear the traffic from the road and voices from the parking lot below. Even with two deadbolts I still felt the door wasn't secure, which was a concern due to the derelict appearance at the back of the parking lot (a large pile of take-out containers mounded in the corner.) The only toiletry item provided was a rather small bar of soap. The ice bucket was filthy; the plastic cups were individually wrapped. No box of tissues. The room had a mini fridge with a separate freezer, and a small microwave. TV was large and worked well. The vending machine was broken so we needed to walk next door to the Popeye's for bottled water. Used the fan feature on the unit which was adequate, quiet, and didn't 'contaminate' the room with any unusual smells. We couldn't wait to get out of there the next morning and will not stay there again.

Just caught the cleaning staff "cleaning" my entire bathroom (sink, countertops, etc.) with a toilet wand and toilet water! Complained to front desk and they told me that multiple people have complained about the same issue

We stayed two nights. If I had not already paid in advance, we would have gone somewhere else. The neighborhood was pretty shady and there were really loud guys making racket outside for most of both nights. I'm not picky, I'll pretty much stay anywhere but I wouldn't go back here.

Booked last minute because horrendous thunderstorms interrupted our travels. Used booking.com to make the reservation; it didn't go through the system and I had to call them, they called the hotel, and 20 minutes later, I had keys to a room with 2 queen beds. Room was quite large, but the door had a gap so we could hear the traffic from the road like it was just outside the door (we were toward the back of the building). Walls were thin; could hear voices from the room next door - and the kid kicking the wall shook our bed. Although it was a non-smoking room, we could smell smoke from somewhere - and the sheets had burn marks on them. No toiletries were in the room; just a bar of soap. Since we hadn't expected to stay overnight anywhere, we didn't have any shampoo - so, no showers. Room had a mini fridge with a separate freezer, and a small microwave. Only used the fridge; worked fine. TV was large and worked well. Couldn't wait to get out of there the next morning; will not stay there again.

I'm done with Motel 6. Not sure what's going on lately but it's getting worst with every stay. We stopped at this location very late at night with our three kids after having spent the whole day driving back home from Florida. When we got in our room, there was about nearly 70 dead bugs scattered across the room. In every corners, underneath the A/C unit etc...Plus a dead bird welcomed us outside in front of our room. (See photos) We didnt sleep there. We asked to get a refund and left.

OK, I'm giving this a 5 star review, not because it's a 5 star hotel by traditional standards, but rather in comparing my personal experiences with BUDGET motels/hotels in the Philadelphia, NJ area, to find a room for less than $70, this is about as good as it gets. Please judge my 5 star review with similarly priced properties, and not with a Ritz Carlton. I'm trying to compare apples with apples. I've stayed in this Motel 6 on multiple occasions. Needee, John, and Rohan have consistently been very hospitable and genuinely friendly. The Room is always clean and well stocked. The bed is comfortable, and they offer cable TV, a refrigerator and microwave. Did I mention FREE WI-FI and Parking? It's in very short walking distance to a Dunkin Donuts and Popeye's. Lastly, it's very close to the NJ Turnpike. Save $ and enjoy.

Hotel is what you would expect of a Motel 6. My big problem was the spread with the cigarette burn hole in it and the cigarette burns in the bathroom. It's located right on a busy highway so it can be noisy. Housekeeping did not clean my room on two occasions. TV service is very bad. Picture is extremely fuzzy! I was on the third floor and the elevator worked sometimes... Very inconvenient!

Stayed here this past Saturday for a quick overnight stay while we went to Philly for the evening. The room was clean, simple, and comfortable. No noise, next to several places for quick bites (Popeyes, BK, 711 etc.). Staff was super nice and friendly. Its not the Hilton, but its a great place for a quick overnight stay. :)
