Hotel's Favourite
This was our first stay at a Sonesta. We were greeted warmly on arrival by Kevin. Thank you Kevin! Our room was large and very clean. The bed was SO comfortable. We liked the full-size refrigerator as we had items to keep frozen. We didn’t have time to fully access the facilities. We did enjoy the to-go breakfast. For future travels, we’ll pay more attention to the Sonestas.

Refused to refund room cancel despite cancelled within one hour for room booked one month in advance. Very rude when called and spoke to desk manager. Would not even consider. Plus a family member did stay and had to leave due to pot smell

Dear Valued Guest, I apologize for this inconvenience, our cancellation policy is stated on our website and states you would need to cancel the day prior to your arrival. Typically for emergencies we do not have a problem waiving the cancellation, however when you opt to book through a third-party website for a discounted price, which you did in this case you would have to abide by their cancellation rules. If you are pre-paying them for a room at a discounted rate it's usually a no refund situation, which they let you know at the time of booking. I stayed here a few weeks ago and I have never been more impressed with a hotel and its staff before I found Sonesta. Yasmeen was the sweetest person I have met I also saw her working incredibly hard and everywhere. Her oatmeal is amazing so take advantage of breakfast! My room was comfortable and clean, if I ever needed anything staff would work hard to accommodate me. Will definitely come here again.

Sonesta Es Suites Parsippany is one of the best places to lounge on whatever occasion. The units are equipped with one of kind amenities that really make staying worth the buck. With a lovely accommodating staffing that ensure it's guest with quick service. The hotel was much cleaner than ones I’ve been to before. Staff was also very welcoming and nice. Staff member Yasmeen went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable the entire stay which really helped make the stay better.

My family and I found this hotel amazing. Extremely well kept and beautiful. Breakfast area was exceptional. The staff there are professionals. Especially Virginia Moore. She assisted our family in many ways. Ms. advised us if places to shop, dine and simply have fun. This has been a truly wonderful experience. Definitely going back when visiting the area.

Horrible place! Very rude employees. I had to wait at check-in for a very long time with the two kids. Front desk person Sadik (or Sidik, who didn't have the name badge!) was answering call after call, helping people who were passing by and was completely ignoring me and the 2 kids. When I pulled-out my camera and began recording our check-in process, he became very mad and screamed at me "f you, your reservation is cancelled, go stay elsewhere". I called the police and made police report. Will be taking it to court. Stay away from this business who hire people like this. P.s. the pool is under maintenance until September and nowhere it is mentioned on the website.

The hotel needs maintenance and housekeeping. Condition is started to show in carpets, walls, hallways, exterior walls, smell, etc. tried two different rooms and both were unclean so we went to a different hotel. Trash piled up in hallway outside of a different room. First room had most of the light bulbs burned out and tub had dried vomit in it. Was very difficult late at night to deal with having to move hotels, etc with kids in tow. Second room had ring in tub and smelled like tuna fish. Rooms very, very basic and furniture not in great condition and needs updating. Kitchens looks nice and well stocked and staff seem kind. The location is good. However. buyer beware there are better choices locally for the same price. To me, cleanliness and maintenance are the most important features of a hotel. I think the rooms needs bleach and more extensive cleaning to start with…
