My husband and I & stayed at the Tower Cottage recently, after reading reviews of places to stay in Point Pleasant. It was wonderful! The B&B was cleaner than any hotel or resort we've stayed in and the house and rooms were all beautifully renovated with unbelievable attention to detail. When we arrived, we were treated to cookies and small cakes. We walked upstairs to the Tuscan Dreams room, which is meticulously decorated. As one reviewer stated, the cleanliness and detail was that of a 5 star resort. Tony and Maureen ensure the rooms have high quality linens and towels, a small fridge filled with water, two robes, any and all toiletries you could want or need, a coffee maker, gas fireplace and a bed that is beyond comfortable. There was not one nick or scratch on anything, the room was in perfect shape and looked brand new. I honestly don't know how they keep everything looking this new. Our breakfast was served on the porch (although we could have requested in room) and was excellent. We've done a lot of traveling in the U.S. and Europe over the years and we were both surprised at how much care and pride shows in every corner of this B&B gem. The walk to the beach and boardwalk is less than 5 minutes and the B&B is in a quiet residential area. We plan to stay again and can't recommend the Cottage enough. Wonderful experience!…
Just an amazing experience. The cleanliness and detail was that of a 5 star resort. Breath taking. Tony was an incredible host and his prepared breakfast was first class and plentiful. A very welcoming experience.
My Husband & I reserved the Tuscan Dreams room and were pleasantly surprised by the new amenities which this historically restored property offered - such as, a spa tub in our en-suite, remote controlled AC, marbled framed Gas Fireplace, mini-fridge filled with bottles of water, and so much more! Property is COVID conscious and super clean! While the Breakfast Room was closed, as part of the property’s commitment to COVID safety, guests were able to enjoy an alfresco dining on the front porch. My husband and I opted to have our breakfast in our room - each morning - where we leisurely ate and drank our coffee at our breakfast nook. Note, breakfast referenced above IS NOT your boring “Continental Breakfast”…not at all! Each morning we were served an array of fruit, elegantly presented fresh pastries, and a gourmet “Hot-Off-the-Stove” breakfast! Thank you to Tony & Maureen, for accommodating my husband’s nut allergies. Not only did they ensure all foods offered to us were nut free, they were also cognizant that all pastries and breakfast were not lacking in their deliciousness!!!…
Great location. only a few blocks from the beach. VERY clean room! Delicious breakfast and home-made baked goods. Very COVID clean conscious. Highly recommend. Owners were extremely friendly and approachable.
From the moment you pull up in front of The Tower, you KNOW your experience is gonna be special and memorable. Tony, Maureen, and Eloina were fabulous hosts. I recall looking up and thinking, what a view it must be from that topo room. Well, that's exactly where Maureen brought us to - THE TOP! Yes, we got to stay in the Tower Suite of The Tower Cottage and boy was the view and long weekend spectacular. You really felt like you stepped back to Victorian time. The owners have made a lot of effort to bring you the experience... and bring it they have. From homemade scones, fresh fruit, and omelets to the front sitting porch and warm common room, you're taken back in time and treated as such. The Tower Suite had everything you need and the pampering things (spa tub, plush robes) to make you spoiled. There's even High Tea! We walked the half mile to the beach and Jenkinson's boardwalk each day and had lunch and dinners in town as well. A glamourous stay and a great 2nd honeymoon location.…
The positives: Very clean. The room, while not large, was nicely renovated. It's pretty quiet, though you can hear the sound of the train horns during the night. It wasn't disturbing to me. We've stayed in a number of B and Bs during COVID, and the experience here was the least pleasant. The least pleasant aspect was having our temperatures taken upon arrival. Not one other B&B or hotel we've stayed at has done this. What would happen if someone had a temperature? You've driven miles....but no room at the Inn? We've recently stayed at beautiful B&Bs in Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Rhode Island. They all allowed guests to enjoy breakfast in the dining room and provided a full breakfast. Here you had to eat in your room (on the bed). They didn't bring fresh coffee, but you had to make it from the machine in your room. Breakfast was a muffin wrapped in Saran Wrap, some fruit, and a wrapped up croissant with ham and eggs on it. The cost is very high--far higher than other fine B&Bs we've stayed at recently. I would not return.…
Had the most amazing weekend at the tower cottage! My boyfriend surprised me for my birthday by treating me to the AMAZING bed and breakfast. Food was fantastic, room was beautiful and super clean. Beach towels and badges were provided. Tony gave us great recommendations for local restaurants for dinner. Super friendly staff. Will definitely be returning
The perfect getaway. The Tower cottage was Beautiful, clean and quiet. Tony and Maureen were wonderful. Perfect location. Breakfast was unbelievable and our room was gorgeous! Excellent stay! Can’t wait to come back again
The Tower Cottage is a luxury, delightful bed and breakfast located on an idyllic, quiet, tree lined street. Besides being beautiful, it is immaculate and the service is first class. Comfy beds, luxury linens, towels and robes. Delicious homemade breakfast, accommodating to dietary restrictions. Tony and Maureen are gracious hosts. Already planning a return visit!
Last weekend, my husband and I enjoyed the most wonderful weekend at the Tower Cottage in Point Pleasant Beach. As this was our first foray into traveling following the pandemic, I was extremely concerned about Covid precautions at the bed and breakfast. There was no need to worry as the establishment took every precaution that could have been taken to keep us safe. Our room was extremely clean, it was totally equipped for our two night stay, and all remotes were covered in clear wrap and changed for each stay. At this time, as a precaution, no one entered our room during our stay. There was water available to us in a small wine refrigerator. And, the bed was incredibly comfortable!!! The owners, Tony and Maureen, were the most gracious hosts. I had asked for an early check-in, and received a text that the room was available well in advance of regular check-in time. Breakfast each day on the front porch was superb and delicious snacks were available all day. I am looking forward to my next stay at the Tower Cottage.…
