Loved the convenient location and the well-stocked bathroom. However, the mattress felt worn out, and we had trouble sleeping from too much light in the room and noise from the non-stop heater. The lovely window shades did not fully block the street lights, and the blinking sprinkler was like having a strobe light on the ceiling. Very disappointing with that high room rate. However, you can't beat the location in Princeton!

We made a last minute decision to go away for the weekend, and decided to stay at the Nassau inn. It was a great choice for our family. We booked a suite since the prices were so reasonable, and we were very pleased with the amenities. The room was spacious and clean. The suite had a mini fridge and sink area along with a table for eating and couches for relaxing. They were very careful about Covid precautions which made us feel safe. The location is smack in the middle of tons of shops and restaurants. And you could also venture a bit outside the main hub to quieter streets and parks. The receptionist (shareen I think?) was very welcoming and kind. I have nothing negative to say; it was perfect.

Across the street from Princeton University, and located in the middle of it all - shops, restaurants, cafe ... Perfect for a few days stay without having a car! Beautiful historic hotel and friendly staff. Definitely will stay here again.

To be fair, this is a review of a stay that didn’t happen but illustrates the lack of compassion and elevated money grubbing that I thought only took place in hotel chains. Had a reservation and hadvto cancel as my wife came down with Covid. Called a full 48 hours before and was told there would be no charge to cancel. And…….a $430charge shows up on my card anyway. Also, because the service is so personal and they care so much about me they send a review questionnaire to see how my non-stay was! Wow. Robots run the world.

My family stayed at the Nassau Inn for Thanksgiving Eve and really enjoyed it. Firstly, I can’t say enough about the staff-the were lovely. Since it was Thanksgiving the restaurant was closed;however, they were very helpful with getting us wine glasses and we really appreciated it. The rooms are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was very easy as the deck is a two minute walk. The location is ideal to explore Princeton! We would definitely stay here again.
