Detailed Reviews
For a business traveler details matter, especially when traveling constantly. This hotel is very outdated and rundown: from noisy HVAC, to dated and half-working shower knobs, from old toilet to chugged sink (I had to remove the stopper). Breakfast is very basic (comparable with the ES brand, though).
On the positive side: the bed sheets are clean, the carpets and sitting area as well, premium high-speed internet connection very good.
Personnel is attentive and accommodating, which is always nice.

We spent two nights here and the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the overall facility pretty well maintained. Parking is free but very crowded and finding your way around the garage is confusing. The fittings in the room definitely are in need of some upgrading and maintenance, and in all fairness many of the rooms were closed for some sort of upgrading. The breakfast and other food offerings are conveniently located, but hours are limited. The biggest disappointment was the pool. It's small and the room it's in is in very poor condition, with drafty windows and corroded windows.

This hotel is very pretty and clean. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are huge. The beds are comfortable. 2 big nice tvs in each room.
The negatives are, the cleaner/air freshener is very strong. The rooms will not get down to 65 degrees even when it is 60 degrees outside. We called maintenance the first and told us they will not get that cool. So he brought us 2 fans.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed one night before our cruise. We drove from Canada and arrived early morning. Check in wasn’t until 4pm but the lovely ladies at the front desk locked up our luggage, let us park and gave us access to a restroom to freshen up.
We toured NYC for the day, the bus stop was just across the street, so convenient. And upon returning check in was a breeze. Our room was very spacious. We were a family of 6 and it didn’t feel right at all. Everything was very clean and comfortable except our pull out couch didn’t feel nice to us. We just put the mattress on the ground and had a great sleep.
We checked out the pool, there is no whirlpool/hot tub. The pictures I saw must have been old. My son used the gym and enjoyed it.
Breakfast was above my expectations! Very good.
We definitely enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

I fond that All staffs were nice and friendly. Especially, the Thai maid who served around the breakfast desks on the 2nd January. She was very nice and friendly. She definitely lifted up my experience during my stay. I have a great experience overall. The location is also one of the key factor. It was very convenient to commute from here to Manhattan using public transportation. This is the key of any NYC travelers. You will have a comfortable stay (out of smell and noise from Manhattan) in 15-20 minutes commuting from-to Port Authority with the NJT bus right in front of the hotel.
Only one minor comment is that I found that the room wasn’t very clean when I first arrived. I found a dirty used small towel on the bedroom floor and some dust on the table here and there. The room was also a little outdated and may need a little more redecoration. I feel that the room was cleaner in the 1st and 2nd night after it was cleaned though. Overall, I have no problem with the cleanest. Just expected a little more from the Embassy Suite by Hilton name.
I give all staffs 10/10. Facilities 10/10. Experience 10/10. Love it here and will return again for my next New York trip.

Stayed here for a business conference at the expo center next door. This is my third time staying here and experiences have been similar. Hotel lobby and bar/restaurant area is very nice and clean but the rooms are badly in need of updating/remodeling. Chairs were stained and wallpaper was peeling off the wall. The bed was very uncomfortable and sunk down when getting in. Bedding and towels were clean as well as the bathroom.
Location is very convenient and staff was very friendly, so if they could just find the money to update the rooms this could be a very nice hotel.

My family and I Went on vacation for my God’s sons birthday and the first hotel I was going to check in looked run down and moldy ( LA Quinta) then I saw the embassy was part of the Hilton, which I’m a rewards member so I went there (second mistake).
When I arrived the staff was nice and told me I would be charged (one night) from the 7th to the 8th, they didn’t say anything about charging me two days. Now, I did arrive close to 4am and they did say check in was fine to do this early, (Again wasn’t told I was going to be charged another 200 dollars). 200 dollars a night with no pool no gym, I understand Covid regulations so they should’ve discounted the rooms
The inside of the Embassy was Beautiful looked very moderns however, when you got into the rooms it looked like you stepped back in time into the 80’s. The color of the room looked like a cheap motel brown scheme. The only thing modern was the TV and my things. There was a certain smell almost like they were trying to remove the smell of cigarettes (non smoking room). Second the beds were rough and you can feel the springs. Literally felt so uncomfortable I checked the whole room for bed bugs (luckily none were found). Third the TV channels were not working and when they did they would glitch. I definitely felt (“catfished”).
The breakfast was literally the bare minimum, tasteless and not full filling. The cereal ran out right when I got down there. The staff didn’t replace it they just stood there and watch, one lovely woman did say sorry to us but that was the extend of the conversation.
Once I checked out I didn’t check the bill until I got home (Massachusetts) and realized they charged me the extra room. Then I received a survey text and I explained to them what happen, instead of getting a solution I got, “ I completely understand Mr.Alvarez, have a great day”.
I’ve slept in worse places being in the military and I write reviews so the next people can be happy or aware of what to expect. I personally hate when the reviews are not close to accurate. I’m hoping this review helped the next potential customers to be aware or take that extra second and look at your options.
Definitely wasn’t worth the money I spent, I could’ve slept in my car (which I have done plenty of times to avoid a horrible hotel experience). Lastly, I gave it a two star because the staff was nice although the person in the front desk was very condescending, and the lobby was clean but again I won’t be staying at the embassy again.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear that our Front Desk team as not clear in expressing you you that checking in at 4am would involve an extra charge. Our customary check in time is 11am so a 4am check in would entail an additional cost. We apologize that you developed the impression during your stay that the pool and fitness center are closed as both of these amenities are open and operating. We will share your feedback with our Food and Beverage staff that you felt breakfast was at a minimum. We will certainly investigate how we can add more items to perhaps improve the experience. We appreciate you sharing your experience.

So this place is apparently under new management. Advertises breakfast but there isn’t any. We asked for clean towels and we were told to bring our dirty ones to the front desk and they would give us clean ones. Since it’s a suite there is a pull out couch. They give you a sheet but no blanket. Even if you ask for a blanket for the pullout they tell you they literally cannot give you a blanket for it. Confused? So are we. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

My stay at the Embassy Suites was awesome! It was made that way by the Desk Manager/ Receptionist, Siobhan Sims!
I made online reservations for two suites, or so I thought. Upon check-in, Ms. Sims informs me that I do have two rooms but not suites. Please keep in mind, it’s four people (3guys+1lady)! At this time I’m sort of freaking out because there were a total of two beds for four people (3 guys) and the hotel was sold out! Ms. sims made a telephone call and came back with the greatest news ever (on that day anyway), she found a room that could accommodate all of us!! I said, thank you and we will take it!! At that point, it did not matter how much the room would cost because I was tired after driving 13 hours from Myrtle Beach, SC, to see my beloved NY Giants. Ms. Sims in my humble opinion went above and beyond to accommodate her customers! Through her efforts we had a great room that kept all of us together, with a view of NYC, and just a few miles from MetLife Stadium. If I ever make it to another NYG game, I will definitely be staying at the Embassy Suites Secaucus Meadowlands!

Good morning. my opinion for a 2-night stay at the Harmony Suites Secaucus hotel! I booked this hotel for its proximity to New York, its access and for the memory of the hotel, a former Embassy Suites! Amon has already arrived the first disappointment! the reception has nothing to do with Embassy anymore… we start by taking the $250 deposit from you! Then we take care of your room, it is visibly in its original state with repairs to maintain it. room in good condition, switches for the lights with detector which turns on the light as soon as you move at night, forcing you to close the doors of the suite to sleep. no room service between nights. Full buffet breakfast but not at the level of a three star. Quality of pastries visibly not up to date or kept too long in the fridge, tasteless coffee, vertical toasters with 4 ridiculous locations for a huge hotel. And the worst part, 8 days later, still no return of the $250 deposit despite an email that went unanswered. Too bad because the location is great, but this hotel is first about the money and then the services (Embassy there was a restaurant, a bar and also the welcome drinks! now nothing)

Bus is really easy since it is right across the street, drops you off right near a metro stop.
t was 7-10am when we were there
We had a suite - bedroom was separate from the living space - that has a pull out bed.
We had a really nice view of NYC in the background.
