The Chateau's location is perfect and peaceful. It is across from the Spring Lake Park. Just a short walk or drive along the Park, brings you to the charming town center with many stores and restaurants The parking lot at The Chateau is ample and convenient to the rooms..which offer porches , balconies or a beautiful outdoor patio area...we spent a few quiet hours under an umbrella playing cards. We spoke to Ralph, "The Everything Man", who was making the landscape beautiful. In chatting with him we learned of a few new restaurants to try. We even learned of a great deli just steps away if a quick snack was wanted. The staff is all friendly and knowledgeable. Jeff went out of his way to book our requests when we called for reservations. April made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit when we checked in. The Lobby or Lounge is quite stylish... offering private tables, a leather couch and comfy chairs if you want to sit a while. Great Coffee is available all morning and into the night, as is chilled and flavored water. Our suite was spacious , well appointed, spotless and cozy. The furniture was updated, chic and comfortable. We had 2 great days and wonderful peaceful nights of sleep. We came away feeling refreshed and energized by our pleasant stay. We highly recommend it for a lovely get away!…

Absolutely a lovely experience!... overall beautiful and comfortable warm room with a fireplace. Welcoming and very friendly, helpful staff after a weary workday. They offer complimentary cucumber water, lemon water, orange pekoe iced tea a long with coffee and hot tea. Go...you'll be glad you did. You can walk downtown to all the delightful shoppes and a seafood restaurant. Train station is right there across the street and a traditional Deli with good soups, homemade everything... fresh bagels. Delightful and felt at home.

Such a nice, neat and quaint inn at the shore. Located in Spring Lake , this property was such a joy with beautiful accommodations and staff. We needed a few days in the area after a wedding in the area. Will definitely plan a trip to stay here again.

I am from NJ, but not familiar with the shore. I knew I was looking for something fabulous, and I found it. The Chateau is decadent!! I was so impressed with everything!! The entrance and foyer have beautiful sitting areas to enjoy wine or iced tea or coffee. And the rooms are beautiful!! Clean and spotless! Towels are soft and don’t reek of bleach! The staff are wonderfully friendly. I truly can’t wait to return!!

Lovely stay, very neat and clean hotel…next time we will definitely reserve a larger room and in well enough time. We even stumbled on fireworks from the boardwalk on Thursday evening during my the husband Chris’ birthday celebration. Nice! Thank you.

The Chateau Inn And Suites in Spring Lake, NJ is a gem of a place to stay. The staff are so accommodating and hospitable. The Inn is a short walk to the beach and downtown. There is also a beautiful church (St. Catherine's) within a very short walking distance. The room was very clean with all amenities and the staff gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner. We cannot wait to go back and stay at the Chateau Inn.

Great place to stay. Clean, quiet, and close to the beach, lake, church, and downtown where you can shop for all kinds of stuff. For the beach, you get complimentary beach passes and they also provide beach towels and beach chairs as well. Highly recommended.

The Chateau is my favorite US place to stay. It's an oasis of calm, with helpful staff and refreshing drinks like cucumber water, ice tea, and coffee available all day and evening at the reception lounge. Their cotton candy taffy is also a delicious treat (beware: quite addicting). Their outdoor sitting areas, which are many in cozy communal use areas, made me feel welcome as if I was at home. A short walk to the beach and town as well as train station made it convenient even without a car. Last but not least, the room was clean, luxurious, and, most importantly, practical.

The Chateau Inn and Suites became “our place” almost immediately upon entering the lobby. The operation is run like a family. The rooms are extremely well appointed and impeccably clean. Our short stay was very comfortable. So much so that we booked a longer stay for the upcoming Fall. We cannot say enough about the staff. Each one is excellent - very thoughtful, friendly and helpful. They make you feel “at home”. We are looking forward to our next stay at this well-run and beautiful inn.
