Welcome to the Spring Lake Inn, where European-style hospitality, history and contemporary amenities blend together for an unforgettable vacation experience. We’ve been told that our inn is unpretentious, yet elegant, inviting, yet private for those guests who need time and space to unwind. Built in 1888 as the Grand Central Stables of Spring Lake NJ, the inn is only a block from the ocean and the 2-mile boardwalk. We serve sumptuous breakfasts at your own table in the grand dining room as well as afternoon snack. Our 80 ft. Victorian porch is irresistible. Each of the 17 spacious guestrooms and suites offer all or a combination of the following luxury features: fireplace, ocean view, Jacuzzi, 4-poster bed, sleigh bed, refrigerator and digital cable TV. Fine dining, boutique shopping and spa pampering are only blocks away. Spring Lake New Jersey is one of America’s most genteel seashore towns where time can stand still at our “European Mansion by the Sea.”

Super cozy, wonderful retreat. Beds were comfortable, even the pull out. Claw foot tubs are my favorite. Very clean. Inviting front porch and common spaces on the first floor. The sunny breakfast room had a lot of options. A block from the spring lake boardwalk made my 2 mile walk east to do! Will definitely come again. This time I am traveling with my special needs sister. Stairs were ok!

Thank you for making our stay truly wonderful & memorable! My friends can't stop talking about what a great time they had and how perfect everything was...including the weather :). Our rooms were comfy, bright & clean and the breakfast was delicious. If you are looking for a place to stay - I highly recommend this B & B - its just one block to the ocean & boardwalk and the porch is the perfect way to end the day!

We appreciate your nice comments and choosing our Inn. We are blessed to have such great long time staff who have weathered the Covid storm with us. It is only because of nice people like you who stay with us that we are able to stay afloat during these historic times. Be well and God Bless.

Wasn’t the worst Inn I’ve stayed at but wasn’t the best either. The location was excellent with a short walk down to the boardwalk and beach. The Innkeepers were cordial but not overly friendly. I’ve stayed at Inns where the owners make you feel like an old friend when you walk in the door, have casual conversations with you throughout your stay, recommend area restaurants, ect. That wasn’t the case here. Breakfast wasn’t “ sumptuous “ as stated on their website. We stayed 4 nights and each morning was the same thing: broccoli quiche, fruit, hard- boiled eggs, coffee cake , yogurt and cereal. Changing it up would have been nice. We stayed on the 3rd floor in the Moonbeam room. Very spacious but felt worn. Sheets seemed old as well. There were paper liners in the dresser drawers but old and torn. Need to be freshened up/replaced. If I travel to that area again , I’ll try a different inn next time.

Thank you for your comments which are shared at our staff meetings for discussion and improvements. We are always a work in progress and get great suggestions from our guests. We are well aware of social distancing during these unusual times and always operate with safety protocol in mind. Perhaps you did not notice the quiche lorraine or mushroom quiche located on our breakfast table. Lemon pound cake, Inn made banana bread, cinnamon raisin bread, croissants, bagels, biscuits, 4 flavored cream cheeses, daily muffin, sliced fresh fruit and whole fruit baskets, organic mixed nut butter & peanut butter and a selection of 21 different teas. We take pride in our extensive offering and receive many favorable comments. We put a dryer sheet in each drawer as recommended. Our bed linen is a white on white pattern 800 thread count organic cotton and not old. We do try to remedy situations as they are told to us but we do need to be informed during your stay. We appreciate all perspectives and welcome ideas.
