When searching for a venue for our wedding, my husband and I wanted small and intimate. Not only did we find the perfect venue in Whistling Swan, we found a place we plan to return to celebrate our anniversary - even though it's only ten minutes from our house, and we will recommend it to visiting friends and family from... My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night and enjoyed every second of it. The house was exceptionally clean and we felt right at home. The breakfast was amazing too. (Try their French toast) To top it off, the surrounding neighborhood is a fun place to walk and shop around. Check out the antique stores down the road because... More

I visited The Whistling Swan this past weekend with my boyfriend and feel as though I found my go to B&B. The Inn is situated on a quiet residential road with ample parking in the back and the property is beautiful. A few of my favorite features were the wrap around porch, the Koi pond and the lovely garden area... More

It was absolutely delightful chatting with you both, and we're glad you had a positive experience at the inn. We do try to have something for everyone at breakfast, and the spinach quiche and baked French toast are guest favorites. Yes, the slanted ceiling in the Lenape room can be a bit tricky; I hope you peeked in the other... More

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Whistling Swan. The Inn is beautiful. Ros, the owner, was very nice and accommodating. We had the romantic package and were greeted with roses, dipped strawberries and a bottle of champagne. If you are going to be in Stanhope I highly recommend visiting the Whistling Swan.

This was a very nice place my sister booked for the entire weekend for her wedding party and ceremony. While it was in a residential area, it was close to anything we needed. The staff were quite accommodating and the Owner/Inn Keeper, Ros, was on top of our every need and want. It was a classic wedding and reception, with... More

A really beautiful place inside and outside. They have a nice pond and water fall as you walk up and nice areas to relax on the wrap around porch. Also has a gazebo and small area of grass to sit on. We stayed in the Still Water Suite on the third floor. It was very nice with the slanted ceilings... More

We recently spent one night at the Whistling Swan Inn. The porch was roomy and inviting, with several areas - including a hammock - in which to relax with a book. Architecture and furnishings are Victorian and our room (with king bed) was comfortable and overlooked the side garden. Breakfast was ample and delicious, with several hot choices (try the... More

We loved the character of our attic room, updated with a gorgeous modern bathroom! We rented out the Whistling Swan from 5/26-5/28/16 in preparation for our daughters wedding on 5/27/16. Both bride and grooms families stayed in the 9 rooms. Roz was wonderful and so organized.
