This motel was great for our needs. Stayed with 4 adults and 2 babies in pack n plays. Plenty of room for our basic needs. The bathroom is retro but we didn't mind. It was clean room every day with cute little towel figures on the bed each time we returned. Desk staff was so nice and liked it was... More

Stayed here two years ago and returned tis past week. It was just as clean as I remembered. Room we had this time had beds with newer mattresses which made for a very comfortable night's sleep. Pool and surrounding area were well maintained. Will definitely be back!

I used hotels.com and found this little gem. All the reviews on YELP and Trip Advisor seemed to be positive, so I went for it. The price was 140 a night in July, mid week. Even though I used hotels.com the Ala Kai called me to confirm my reservation. The lady was very nice and helpful over the phone. We... More

This motel was perfect. We came to the Crest for a short visit to the beach. This motel is on the beach! Ala Kai was very clean, the room had a small dinette with stove, full refrigerator and microwave. Bedroom was a separate room. There was a sitting area with sleeper sofa and dining table & chairs. Bathroom had great... More

Flo and Joan are the sweetest woman and have the utmost hospitality and I would go back just because of them! The prices weren't to bad either. I gave a 4 star because the place is outdated yet clean for the most point. Thank you ladies so much! That was a well needed trip and one of the best weekends... More

But the place is very very old. No updates at all. Everything seems to be original. If you wanted some fresh air, as the windows don't open, and wanted to leave the door open, you couldn't see the tv. The tv was in an out of the way place too. It was cheap, so I guess you get what you... More

If you are looking for a Ritzy, upscale, expensive Hotel ... go somewhere else. Ala Kai is a... More

Normally we don't stay in the Crest but since my mother is disabled we wanted something closer to the beach. Ala Kai was a great choice. Upon arrival the front desk later was extremely nice. The pool is super clean and the rooms were comfy. Only thing I can really complain about is there not being a tv in the... More

This was our 4th year staying here. Let me start by saying this. If you like fancy hotels well this isn't for you. What this hotel is: it's affordable, It's outdated.. But is a very clean hotel. The entire staff always friendly and so were other people staying here. Beds are very comfy and believe they replaced with new beds... More
