Spent two nights in a family chalet, there were four adults in the party. We had not booked in advance as we had booked into a lodge elsewhere in the area but could not access due to a poor gravel road to reach our planned destination. Four adults with two weeks of luggage traveling in a Toyota Yaris, we only...

With its stark, arid scenery and impressive waterfall, Augrabies is spectacularly beautiful. An elevated walkway meanders across the rocks to viewpoints above the Falls and gorge which are illuminated for a couple of hours after dark. Take a torch as it's inky-black when the lights go off. The starry heavens are breathtaking, a must for stargazers. Several good dirt roads...

This was my first trip to Augrabies falls. We stayed over on our way to Namibia and again on the way back. On both occasions we wished we could stay longer. The falls are spectacular to say the least. The rest camp accommodation really impressed us. We've had some bad experiences with SANParks facilities but this was definitely not one...

We stayed overnight in one of the chalets and found it very comfy. It's quite a while since they've been refurbished and they could do with a bit of an upgrade. The area around the camp is very easy to reach for children and adults and people in wheelchairs. Wonderful photographic opportunities. Their signage for the walks is a bit...

My two children and I stayed here for a long weekend. The Rest Camp is great. It's basically one large room with an en suite bathroom which is huge. There are two single beds and a couch bed that is (as their website states) only suitable for children (most tall adults would hang over the end. Chalets are well equipped...

Loved Augrabies the falls only make up a small part of the attraction. The park is really interesting with the different wildlife encountered. My children loved it as well. Resturant was okay. We had some amazing bird sightings and as in the whole area really beautiful sunsets. Can highly recomend. Part of our family holiday to kgalagadi and Richtersveld. Would...

The Oranjekom Gorge Cottage is an excellent facility! Great location, secluded and very comfortable. Worth every cent! You have to cater for yourself, but this is what you should be doing anyway to enjoy the night sky and majestic Orange river far below you. Recommended!

Can accommodate only 2 people with doubble bed. kitchen with gas hob and bathroom 30m away. Stunning views with beautiful sunsets and sunrises and the soothing sound of the river running...

We stayed at the rest camp for one night. Cabin with view of the falls, the cabins are quite large, well equipped beds are comfortable, and the restaurant is okay, but you can also braai or cook. The views are awesome and form the cabin you walk down to the falls with an easy well marked path. We liked the...

We thought the chalets were well set up. For two couples we had a double bedroom en suite and a twin room with a separate bathroom. The lounge/dining/kitchen had everything we needed for an over night stop. We were 11 people in three chalets and we able to eat together with no problems and plenty of room.
