What a wonderful experience. The rustic huts are clean and private and you find yourself relaxing and enjoying every moment. The hosts are really friendly and welcoming. Even to the extent of preparing our evening meals for us. And that all with a smile.

Having our first visit to northern cape we had the honoured to stay at the lodge and camping. Site called KHAMKIRRI...augrabies turned off closed to the police station... A road leading throught the vineyards.... At the ORANjE River we were greeted by owner DANIE... Who escorted us across the river on a 'boat' to the resort and also met his...

What a disappointing end to a wonderful trip through the Northern Cape. Everything from the service to the accomodation was lacking. The rustic huts were not cleaned, the fans were not working and the bedding was dirty. The place needs some serious attention and maintenance. The website is deceiving and misleading.

We booked at Khamkiri paid a lot of money for the family unit. What a disappointment, our stay was nice but it was definitely not worth the money! Some of the huts and tent units are not even safe to stay in, they are in such a state. No money are being invested back into Khamkiri! Overall feeling is dirty,...

We went there for our honeymoon in November just for one night and loved it so much in our luxury tent we decided to stay another evening. Pricy but worth it. Lots activities in season for the kids and quite runout for a romantic getaway before.

The camp site might be well kept, but the huts need some attention. The website has not been updated or information omitted, it definately oversells. The price of the chalets are much more than you will pay for that type of accommodation anywhere else and was a bit of a mind bender when you actually get there as the website,...

I've been to this place twice and both times I enjoyed it very much. The campingsites are beautiful and well looked after, also the free roaming wildlife near your site is very nice! The showers & bathrooms could use some extra attention, but they are clean. I liked the fishing at sunset and the cold beers at the woodendeck after...

We stayed at Khamkirri en route to Kamieskroon. We had a beautifully appointed luxury tent with all mod cons incl shower and bath, on the river bank. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the location is wonderful. Sundownders can be had on the lovely deck and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Horseriding and kayaking can be done -...

Khamkirri's setup is nice and the activities they offer ( rafting, game drives, canoe, horse riding, mountain biking etc) are a big attraction, but the animals are under fed (horses), the accomodation is clean but not at all value for your money , but a friendly staff and good service made it worth the while. The website does manupilate you...

We stopped over at Khamkirri on our way back from the Richtersveld and were looking for an alternative to Augrabies but still somewhere on the river that we could go for a horse ride as well. This site has an excellent setting but the accommodations we stayed were very poor and overpriced, the horseriding was OK but the horses were...
