Best wine, best vineyard, best accommodation, best staff... simply the best! My wife an I stayed here for the second time in Feb 2017, and it didn't disappoint. we got married at this vineyard in 2012, so was really looking forward to coming back and seeing the changes that had been made. We spent 2 nights in the newly built...

Very disappointed with treatment received by staff. Daughter was very excited to visit Vrede en Lust due to movie made there and saw this as highlight of her Dec 2016 holiday. Very eager to see actual place where film was shot decide to have lunch first great....then took a walk to the house seeing and noticing her excitement only to...

I am sorry to hear of your experience. Having looked into the matter with our team it seems like you may have dealt with a guest staying at the manor house and not staff. Guests obviously have a right to privacy. Its a pity you did not raise this earlier as its hard to trace an event that took place...

Beautiful estate in Cape Winelands. Breakfast at the Bistro was delish, good service. Lovely artisanal bread. Wine tasting is very reasonably priced and good selection of wine. Chuffed to find a wine in my namesake "Jess" Such beautiful serene views.

I stayed there two days for a wedding organized in the wine state. As it was a special event, I can not give a standard advice on how it is usually but my impressions and feedback are very positive. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, there is a small pool with a bar. The restaurant serves very nice food.

Most magnificent estate for wedding and stay, dramatic scenery and views and very attentive staff. Bistro is a must with a fantastic meanie and lots of little trinkets to indulge in. Great base to explore Cape winelands!

We went for the harvest festival. It is something to remember. So much thought went into this event, congratulation to the team that made this happen. Great music from Newton and band under a state of the art canopy. Delicous wines, food, stalls, we would drive a long way to be there next year.

If you can only visit one wine estate in South Africa, this is the one. Dana Buys and the winemakers have created a brilliant wine experience with the most beautiful wine estate. Having seen 150 around the world I can say confidently this is at the top. Spend a day, taste the wines, have lunch, walk the grounds. You won't...

Perfect for intimate gatherings, weddings, birthdays and conferences. Some of the rooms look out over the vineyards. Wine tasting paired with Lindt chocolates. Wines are really good, especially the Early Mist Riesling. Highly recommended

We were lucky enough to stay here to attend a friends wedding. We stayed in a vineyard suite. Decoration was modern but comfortable and shower room was huge. Stunning views all around. Breakfast was provided and although buffet style gave a good selection. Pool area was clean and well kept. Whilst there we also tried the bistro/bakery which was equally...

This is one of my favourite estates in Franshoek. The terrace is beautiful and the view is really relaxing. We went for a wine tasting and liked a lot of their wines. The Jess is a really good rose, the margerite a lovely white and their flagship red was also very interesting.
