My wife and I checked in for a little getaway to celebrate our 10 years of marriage. We were greeted by Cecilia, who was so welcoming and warm. She made us feel at home right away. What stood out for us was obviously the views, and how quite it was. Very tranquil. Again, Cecilia was very accommodating. The breakfast was...

We stayed here for three nights early in March and had a fabulous time. It is really quiet and peaceful. The pool is wonderful and the views out over Franschhoek are stunning. Our room was enormous with double aspect windows, a large bathroom and balcony area to star gaze from. Breakfast was wonderful. A great selection and the cooked breakfast...

A lovely peaceful spot on a hillside surrounded by vines, with amazing views across Franschhoek. The team at Elephant Lodge were super friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience was wonderfully relaxing.

Me and my husband stayed for three nights in Elephant Lodge and found it truly enjoyable and envigorating. Franschhoek center is truly beautiful but just climb a few meters above on the hills, then you can see the whole beauty of it. That is where Elephant Lodge is situated. On the wine hills of Franschhoek center. We were warmly welcomed...

We loved this place! Cecilia and her team make you feel really welcome and at home. A maximum of 10 guests share this Lodge inmidst Chamonix wineyards with excellent views into Franschhoek Valley. Large pool, shady terrace, nice rooms with comfortable beds, good and plentyful breakfast. It all felt exclusive, but not overstyled and absolutely is worth the money. The...

We were in this Lodge before, and came back. The high expectations we had from the first visit were not disapointed! The wonderful house, the magnificant view from room and pool and especially the extremly helpful and friendly staff (Thanks again to Cecilia!) made the second stay as great as the first one. The fresh flowers on the bed, the...

We came back to Elephant lodge because we had discovered it 5 years ago. That large and very comfortable house in the vineyards offers quieteness, and makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Cecilia is very helpful and all members of the team are equally kind. There is a honesty bar. You can take a bottle of...

This is a beautiful hotel on a hill overlooking Franschhoek and with wonderful views of the valley. The hotel has large rooms and is to a high standard. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. I would give 5 stars, but I wasn't a fan of the Elephant Tusks in the main foyer. I don't even know if they were real to...
