We stayed 2 nights at the Manor, in the Black room: lovely place, beautiful landscape, delightful breakfast (best bread in whole ZA trip!), and very nice staff. Wolfgang was so helpful and kind! Only regret: we only stayed 2 nights, this is not enough to enjoy the Manor and the Franschhoek surroundings. Great place, really.

We had the most amazing stay. The hospitality was world class and the rooms so well furnished and and kept. Rates are very good in comparison to the rest of Franschoek. They made our stay very special, with a personal touch. Highly recommended. Beautiful location.

We had a wonderful time in the Manor. It was a traditional and charming property in a great location- 10 minutes easy walking to town. The accommodation was spacious with more than enough room for the three of us as we had the garden cottage suite and the purple room. The owner was incredibly helpful. There was a thoughtful plate...

Stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful Cape Dutch style building in beautiful gardens with a mountain backdrop. Located on the outskirts of the village and just a little too far to walk into town but the owner provides a complimentary taxi transfer so this isn't an issue. We stayed in the black room which was beautifully decorated and well appointed with...

The cottage and purple room were both gorgeous. Complimentary Nespresso, tea and wine in the rooms - a welcome surprise. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with lots of choice. Wolfgang is a great host, very hospitable and accommodating. Beautiful gardens to relax in. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We stayed in the Black Room and were completely satisfied. It was clear that our host Wolfgang had attended to every detail, from complimentary food and drink items in our room to the free shuttle rides to and from our dinners. The B&B's setting was gorgeous and the short walk to town was pleasant. Wolfgang made our restaurant reservations prior...

We spent four nights in this beautiful Manor as part of a short trip to South Africa in February. Franschhoek itself, made a lovely combination with a short stay in Cape Town. This was a very beautiful and superbly run B&B. We stayed in the largest room which is called the cottage. This cottage was like a house and beautifully decorated...

Franschhoek Manor is a heavenly place. When you walk in and see that every little detail has been completely thought through so you can just relax, you know you are in good hands. I can see why guests return every year and why the place is fully booked until the end of March. There is even a free shuttle service...
