stayed here only for one night, wish it was two. In such a cute town, this was matching lovely accommodation. We had the Aubergine room which was large with a little leafy courtyard. Bed was amazing and it was nice that minibar was included. We went to dinner at the tasting room so it was nice to be so close....

Our 2nd visit to Le Quartier Francais was with our adult sons. We were concerned that there might not be enough for them to do for 4 days, after our safari, but the 2 wine tastings and visit to Babylonstoren kept them happy. We had 3 of the 4 rooms in the courtyard around our private pool, with a butler...

We stayed here for 2 nights in a 'petite garden suite'. This was a private room with a main door leading off from the gardens of the hotel just a minute's walk away from the main building. We had a separate lounge where there was the usual coffee making facilities but also had decanters of various spirits which, along with...

Although we have been in Franschhoek several times before, this was our first stay in LQF. We normally spent four weeks in Franschhoek and also this time we did. Though we were a bit sceptic, because for some reasons LQF was not our first choice, we can say onconditional that we did not regret for chosing LQF for one single...

We only stayed for one night but would wished we had stayed for longer. This is a very sophisticated hotel with very helpful, pleasant and attentive staff. The food was excellent as was the service. We had room 7 just behind the pool which was not only beautifully decorated but had its own seating area just outside that made us...

We spent 2 nights at this hotel in the middle of our African adventure. The hotel was very nice and very private. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed being able to walk right into town from this hotel. As for the food, the main restaurant that served breakfast was good, particularly the fresh baked...

Loved this place as soon as we drove in! Staff mega helpful and very nice. The rooms are all decorated differently, ours felt like home all special little touches and very sophisticated and modern with a little chic thrown in! The courtyard setting is lovely flowers and trees around a little pool and then a choice of restaurants. Very relaxing...
