This accommodation was way more than what we had expected. Perfect if you are looking for peace and tranquility. Great if you are staying in Franschoek with friends. We spent lovely evenings out on the balcony and in the beautiful lounge eating our daily local cheese, bread and olive purchases and playing dominoes while supping on some excellent local wines....

Loved the accommodation on this vineyard. Large rooms, with white bedding, and a really fantastic bathroom. Lovely verandah to sit on with fantastic views over the paddocks, the lake and across to the mountains. Just a short drive down the main road (a walkable distance during the day) to all the restaurants and it was really nice to be out...

The setting for the property is stunning with vines and mountains all around. Very simple white design, comfortable with plenty of storage, large bathroom with sunken bath and separate shower. Outside the room was a sunbed and table and chairs so you could enjoy your (free) bottle of wine and watch the sunset. Complimentary still or sparkling water daily is...

Ignore the GPS co-ordinates as they take you on an incorrect route. The entrance to the property is on the main road. A beautiful ride through the vineyards and orchards to the cottages. Lovely clean modern large room with heating ( it's cold today) and all required amenities in the room including free wi-fi. Magnificent bathroom. No catering facilities but...

What a lovely spontaneous weekend away in the winelands. On a last minute whom we decided to book into La Terra de Luc last weekend. I have been wanting to stay there for months but alas always fully booked. Thus when I saw availability it was a must! It is perfectly located as you enter franschhoek (about 1,5km from where...

The setting is great with beautiful views. The rooms are clean, if a little clinical, lacking warmth, both visually and in temperature. The lack of breakfast or any facilities to make some is a problem. It means having to go into town to find a cafe rather than being able to have a relaxed morning. Small things spoil this place....

The guest house is in a gorgeous location, however is very difficult to access through a service/delivery gate on the side of the property which you only find out about on arrival. There was no-one to welcome me upon when I got to the property, even though I made a point of arriving before the office closes at 17h00. Veronica...

The scenery around Terra de Luc is incredible. Its located on a water farm. The venue is however very hard to access abd requires entering through the service entrance. We booked a premier room and got a classic one which looked nothing like the pics. There was noone to welcome us. The rooms are adequate but lack warmth and character....

If you choose to stay at La Terra de Luc ensure that you get one of the newer rooms shown on the website. We were placed in an old room where the furniture was antiquated, the built in cupboards styled from the 70's and the view from our room was far from what is advertised on the website. We booked...

Our usual stay being unavailable in Franschhoek, tried the La Terre de Luc Guest House. Beautiful property on a wine/fruit estate, incidently home of a bottled water product. Rooms spacious, well-appointed, clean & comfortable. Left to one's own devices, a great place for a quiet getaway! Great value for money! Close to all the Franschhoek restaurants & attractions.
