We stayed in the Plumwood Inn for two nights this week and it was amazing. The owners were so friendly. The location is perfect - 50 yards from the main street and yet it is incredibly private with two pools. The breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were of 5 star standard. Fantastic value.

Had a fabulous stay here. Roel and Lucienne are brilliant hosts nothing is too much trouble. Our room was spotless and well thought out. The location is great, you can walk to the Main Street in a few minutes and very easy to get to other places too. Our stay was the perfect answer to cold grey winters. Looking forward...

This is a lovely welcoming B & B which I guarantee will not disappoint, it is in a perfect location very close to the main street of Franschhoek with all its bars and restaurants. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful and included an information email which was useful in planning our stay .We have already booked...

A truly great b&b/hotel. The owners are extremely friendly, the hotel is ideally located just off the high street in a quiet road and we got upgraded to a balcony as it was a quiet season. Couldn't ask for more and they booked us taxi's and gave us great recommendations. I couldn't recommend it more.

We stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our visit. We had booked a standard room, and as they were not full Roel & Lucienne (excellent hosts) kindly upgraded us to a Balcony room upstairs. If we are lucky enough to visit again we would certainly book upstairs with the balcony and a lovely view of the mountains. Everything was...

For a quiet relaxing stay which is only 5 minutes walk from the Main Street in Franschhoek this is the place. The owners are wonderful, so helpful & accommodating. The rooms are spotless & extremely comfortable. The bedding & towels are soft & inviting. Lots of nice restaurants a short walk away. My favourite place for a cocktail was Le...

Have stayed in a few nice places in Franschhoek and Plumwood Inn by far and away offers the best value. The rooms are really nicely appointed with large bathrooms and the staff on hand are very helpful (arranged my restaurant bookings before I got there). It is perfectly located just a block behind the main street which makes it great for...

Very nice B&B with well-decorated rooms (very comfy beds and great bathrooms). It's in a great location just off the main street and the owners are very helpful with handy tips for the area. Very relaxing communal areas can be used to chill out.

...is how a friend of mine described the Plumwood Inn when she recommended it. She was right. It's a beautiful guest house in very pretty gardens with a lovely, friendly couple, Roel and Lucienne who own and run it. It's in the right bit of Franschhoek - so it's a 3-minute stroll away from the main street- you can walk...

This was our first stop after arriving in South Africa, we had booked quite late so only had the option of the room to the front of the property with no outside area. This was not a problem for us as we were only staying one night but when we arrived we knew we wanted a longer stay. The quality...
