For our 6 week stay we needed somewhere we could relax and chill and Valley House 1 provided that in spades. Kim, Ian and their staff made us very welcome and were on hand if necessary to advise and help. The accomodation was spacious, clean, secure and well provided with all you would need including plenty of books. The location...

We stayed at in Valley House 1 for six weeks and had a wonderful time. The house is extremely comfortable and well equipped and is suitable for large parties. It was an excelent base in Cape Town and Hout Bay itself is ideally suited for young children with the activity at the Harbour keeping them entertained for hours. Kim and...

Experience a real, running farm in CTN - from beautiful horses to ducks and plants, this accommodation offers a great opportunity to explore a different side of Cape Town. There's a beautiful view of mountains and the accommodation is comfortable, clean and neat. Kim and her staff were amazing, going out of there way to assist me wherever possible. This...

Excellent place to stay if you want to visit CPT (Mother City). It's ideally located in a tranquile area. Five minutes drive to Hout Bay beach, fifteen minutes to Constantia, 20 minutes to Camps Bay & Clifton and half a hour to the City Bowl & Waterfront. As it 's self catering, you can do your shopping in Hout Bay...

Our family(of 4) stayed at Kings Place during the August 2011 school holidays. I am not an easy customer to please, and normally find myself scrubbing bathrooms and kitchens in self catering venue's before I allow my family to use anything. This time there was no need to do any of this. The house was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed...

The King's Place is truely an excellent place. We stayed at the King's Place with 3 families (18 people), and it was the ideal location for a week in the Cape area. Centrally located, safe, very spaceous , and very friendly people. Restaurants nearby are fine, but we must also recommend the home-cooking. The traditional south african dishes were lovely....

Most comfortable and relaxing getaway in awesome surroundings, highly recommended. We spent our first two days of our holiday in a four star hotel, then moved to The Kings Place for the next two days, no comparison. It was FAR more comfortable in every sense. We're looking forward to our next opportunity and there's no doubt to where we'll be...

We had the privilege of staying in this wonderful self-catering home for our 5 day stay in glorious Cape Town. What a stunning home - furnished in only the best but still comfortable and homely. We had absolutely everything that we needed and the design of the home was superb. Our five families (three from Germany, two from South Africa)...

We spent a month staying in Valley House 2 and could not recommend it highly enough. Every conceivable home comfort within the house, wonderful grounds for the children to explore and horses, chicken, geese to watch. They loved the swingball in the garden, the tennis court and the exceptionally friendly hosts.
