The Intaba Lodge was an excellent base for exploring the cape. We stayed in the lodge with our two children (8 and 10 years) who loved the location as much as we did. Just walking the garden was an adventure that filled much in their day checking on the chicken and finding all the secret paths. The silence, good beds...

We had a wonderful stay at Intaba Lodge. The owners are very friendly and we appreciated the chats with Pierre. The architecture of the house is beautiful and the exotic furniture is of high-quality and original. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool area is nice as well, a bit hidden in the big garden, it however benefits from...

We stayed at Itaba Lodge for three days in the Stone Studio. It is a wonderful property that has an enchanting garden. The pool is set above the main house and has sun for the most of the day. Very recommendable!

We (2 adults and 2 children, aged 3 and 5) stayed at Intaba Lodge for 6 nights in february and enjoyed every second of it ! Intaba Lodge is ideally located in the hills of Hout Bay, very safe and within a short driving distance from the major attractions of Cape Town. This made it ideal for us, as a...

Nice place to stay, well located with fantastic views to wake up to. Accomodation was comfortable and secure (not even the need to lock the doors!). The French owners are charming and can cook a good English breakfast which can be eaten while looking at a perfect view. Just beware the steep narrow drive up to the lodge!

My wife and I stayed in Tree Cottage and found it very private and with ample accommodation. The setting in Hout Bay is excellent with the harbour, shops and restaurants being a few minutes drive away. The view from the cottage is impressive. We suggest that blinds in the lounge area would be an improvement.

We wanted to start our annual holiday in Hout Bay for a change. Somewhere to have a few days to acclimatise before moving on. This place is great, the French owners are very helpful and the position is wonderful.

My husband and I visited this lovely guesthouse last month. We had a wonderful few days here; having breakfast on the terrace whilst taking in the fabulous view was a real treat. Hout Bay is a great location for visiting Cape Town as it is easy to get into the city but it is also well located for trips to...

My husband and I stayed at Intaba Lodge on a few occasions and on each visit we left knowing we would return. We enjoyed the surroundings of the property, the pool and the great hospitality of the owners, Valérie & Pierre-Marie. They both are very helpful, made suggestions as to what we should visit, made reservations and we returned they...
