This AfriCamps location is situated in Pat Busch Mountain Reserve. 2000 Hectares of spectacular mountain fynbos with streams, mountain dams, birdlife and various animals such as bucks, fallow deer, Nguni cows and even a very shy leopard. Our glamping tents are tucked away in the Cape fynbos and look out over a folded green valley with the Langeberg as a gorgeous backdrop.

We have a wonderful stay at AfriCamps at Pat Busch. Everything was on the highest quality and the setting is amazing. The reserve is also very well located and lots of other things to do only a short drive from Pat Busch.

A comfortable tent with all the amenities you could ask for. It's more than glamping. Comfortable bed, exceptionally good indoor fireplace and a lovely getaway from the city. Just a note about the exit road, watch out for smaller/lower cars, the wheel divots are large and the underbelly of my car got scratched from grinding on the earth. Thought I was going to get stuck - but bakkies and SUV's shouldn't have a problem.

Looking at other reviews we were hoping for a blissful peaceful long weekend with our 2 exhausted teenagers who needed some R&R. However we discovered that although the tents are well equipped and cosy, they are not at all sound proof and are very close together. We were sandwiched in between families with young children and toddlers who had obviously booked as a group so the peace and quiet went out the window. We were also disappointed at the lack of maintenance on the paths that they advertise as their hiking trails. As trail runners/hikers we did all the trails over the weekend and the majority of them were overgrown and under maintained. The last disappointment was when I emailed to point this out I have still not had a reply. What I found quite cheeky was that they are very quick to ask for a review on their mass produced booking system and only ask you to rate the questions which they know will get a positive response on like the booking system. It is a beautiful location but we think overrated and well marketed. We won't be going back.

Just what we needed - peace, quiet and nature! Our favourite part of our holiday was the stunning views and the list of activities. We loved swimming and fishing (catch and release) in the dam and enjoyed the beautiful hiking trails. The tent is well-equipped and comfortable and the beds and bedding are super comfy. Mia and Johan were very friendly and helpful hosts. We loved our stay at Africamps, Pat Busch, and can't wait to go back!

A wonderful few days "glamping" in the mountains of Robertson. Our daughter loved exploring, swimming and meeting other kids. Highlights include a beautiful pool, a super dam with boats, and some lovely walks in nature. We had a fabulous time.
