We had a very pleasant stay in Marula Lodge - a very beautiful guesthouse with an wonderful garden. You can feel and see, that there is a lot of love of the owners in this whole ensemble. Great breakfast.

Cosy rooms, good for short stays. We stayed one night there and were very welcomed there despite our extremely late check in after 9pm due to traveling from CPT. Breakfast was great!! Full continental breakfast - great selection compared to other places we stayed at during out travels in Western Cape. Great value for money.

A good overnight accomodation with lovely breakfasts served on the patio in the garden. Hosts are very helpful in providing information on Swellendam and surroundings. Room was comfortable, although a bit noisy on the weekday morning (which can be understood as house is situated on the main road).

A very nice place to stay in Swellendam with a beautiful garden, pool and all comfort you need. Marion and Filip are very warm-hearted hosts and the breakfast does not leave any wishes open. We highly recommend the Marula Lodge Guesthouse for a great stop-over during your trip through SA.

Nice and comfortable Lodge. Serving very good breakfast. Friendly host who could give helpful advice. Unfortunately swellendam is a very quiet village without any attraction and only a few restaurants.

A very friendly guesthouse on the main road into town. The room was small but brightly decorated and comfortable with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was excellent. Handy for Bontebok National Park and good restaurants.
