We booked our trip through luxury escapes and received lots of inclusions - massages, in villa bbq, daily cocktails, breakfast, transfers too and from the airport and they take you from the villas to the main restaurant with just a call.
The villa we stayed in was in the sunset section so away from the main reception/ bar but this wasn’t a problem. Whenever we wanted to go for breakfast we called and they would collect us in a golf buggy. You can walk easily through the back roads too.
The villa itself was beautiful (29), the pool is plenty big enough, with loungers, dining area and outdoor sofa. There is a Bluetooth speaker for your use, the water cooler is refilled on request and also gives you hot water - which we loved as it’s easier than boiling a kettle.
The room is the coolest we have stayed in Seminyak which we were very grateful for as it’s HOT. You have the main bedroom with plug in insect repellent and bed nets, a dressing room with wardrobe, hangers, dressing gown and slippers and then the big bathroom which is open on the side to the elements, meaning you will often be greeted by a gecko or two.
The employees are so happy, smiley and pleasant and I truly believe that makes the difference.
It is slightly dated as some of the comments mention but it’s easy to overlook this because everything else is great. The towels and bedding smell lovely and are very clean, they replace everything as often as you want - what more could you want!
The nearest supermarket (bintang) is a 5 minute stroll and the beach about 20 minute walk. Again, they will take you to the beach on the buggy if desired but it’s a pleasant enough walk.
Make sure to grab your milk (if you take milk in your tea/ coffee) before you arrive so you can settle in over a bru.

We stayed in a Two Bedroom Pool Villa. It felt like a home away from home. Once you enter your villa you’re in your own compound with large open living area facing your own pool. There is a fully fitted kitchen (with large fridge and stove). Both bedrooms are located on the opposite sides of the living/dining area providing enough space and privacy for everyone. The private outdoor pool deck features lush, well maintained greenery. There is absolutely no noise pollution. Despite being 20 years old the property is ageing very well thanks to great design and good quality, carefully selected, eclectic materials used for decoration. It feels totally timeless. giving the occupier a great sense of informal comfort.
The location is perfect. Just 5 mins walk to the main road with the large Bintang supermarket, bars and restaurant. Walking up to the beach takes just over 15 mins.
Your a la carte breakfast is brought to your villa daily.
I stayed in other hotels in the past and must say I wish I knew about this hidden gem. If you're planning a stay in Seminyak this is THE place to be.
Thank you for the impeccable, friendly service which made our trip special.

Our 2nd time visiting this hotel, and it was just as great as 1st visit. As soon as you arrive to check in, you feel very welcome. The villas are in 2 different locations In Seminyak, not far from each other. But there’s a little complimentary shuttle to take you and luggage to the one that is further away from check in. We have now stayed in both areas, both excellent and very quiet. The bar and restaurant are just nxt to check in area, this is where you come for breakfast. Breakfast has lots to offer, all very tasty. On our first visit they used to offer your breakfast cooked for you in Villa, which was great if you didn’t want to walk up to restaurant. This seems to have stopped now, due to Covid. Our Villa was a 2 bedroom ( only booked 1 bed) it was a lovely surprise when we walked into main door and saw we had been upgraded. The pool was great, lovely outside seating, 2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms plus extra toilet off lounge area. Kitchen with large fridge freezer, fresh water dispenser and all utensils you need. A home from home! The cleaners come in twice a day, in morning they have guys sweeping up leaves etc in garden, pool guy and cleaners doing room etc. Then come back after 6 to turn bed down put mosquito net over bed, turn lights on outside and light mosquito coils. They really go above and beyond As for the situation of villas, you just have 5 mins walk and you on Main Street with restaurants, bars, shops

There were many good points about these villas. The staff were all amazing, very helpful and sought to fix any issues that arose. Breakfast at Oswego was better than expected with a variety of different cuisines on offer a la carte. Terrific cappuccino was a bonus. The golf buggy system worked well most of the time. Room configuration was good with separations between the bedrooms allowing for privacy. Previously mentioned the kitchens are definitely showing signs of age. The biggest drawback was the heat and specifically the pool temperature. It was like taking a warm bath, so consequently the only respite from the heat was to stay in the air conditioned bedrooms. The living area also retained the heat. After coming to Bali around ten times we know this is the hottest and most humid time of the year but we have never felt the heat or been so uncomfortable as this trip. Early on in our 5 night stay I asked if there was another villa we could move to but was told all three bedroom villas are the same configuration, so all would be hot. On the second last evening the manager spoke to us and said perhaps they could put a temporary shade over the pool but it was too late for us. He was very kind but the design cannot be corrected by him. I also raised the issue of no shade being bad for kids playing in the pool. There is lots to like about the villas but the heat very much impacted the quality and enjoyment of our family holiday.

We arrived as a party of 6 from Scotland after 25 hours travelling we were checked in very quickly and taken to their three bed villa and wow was all we could say there accommodations are of a high level clean comfortable and very beautiful After a swim in our pool to help with jet lag the staff supplied an in villa evening barbecue and all the food was exceptional. The staff here go above and beyond for the guest and thy includes all staff from the front desk, security, house keepers, pool, maintenance and restaurant staff. We can not fault our stay at all and 100% recommend these villas I hope management see this review and consider rewarding staff as they make your villas a unforgettable experience. Only suggestion would be to replace some mosquito nets as some are a little bit tired. But again fantastic place

Lovely accommodation and very friendly staff. We stayed in Villa 3 (3 bed) and found everything to be great for a young family of 4 people with relatives visiting who were staying in another villa on site. The only thing I would consider downgrading from 5/5 to 4/5 was that you had to pay additional for coffee or tea (other than standard coffee provided) eg flat white, latte incur an additional charge which was a bit strange, but it was very cheap I wouldn’t take star rating down. If staying with young children please be cautious of the pool as there are also no safety precautions. We used strict safety instructions for our kids (4 and 9) about being near the pool.

From the moment we checked in, my husband and I were treated like we were family! This was our second stay and the staff remembered us from our previous amazing stay! We were offered fresh hand towels and a welcome drink on arrival. Our bed was decorated with rose petals and the towels made up into swans for my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary and our original Villa 11 was made available for our stay, which was a special gesture. The service including room service was prompt and always with a smile! We enjoyed a large outdoor area with kitchen, garden and private pool. Impiana Private Villas are located within walking distance to all that Seminyak has to offer, including the Prana Day Spa where we had the most amazing body treatments and massages. The villas also have 24 hour security from the very courteous security team. All in all this is one of the best places we have stayed in!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Impiana. We had booked a two bedroom villa but paid for an upgrade to a three bedroom villa on arrival, and our teenage boys loved having their own spaces. All the staff were amazing and we felt very well looked after. Everything was clean and lovely and the staff were in regularly to freshen the rooms, garden and pool area. It was great having access to the restaurant and room service, especially on days we didn’t feel like venturing out. Some parts of Seminyak can feel very busy and noisy but Impiana felt like our own private, peaceful oasis.

An amazing 10 day in this beautiful place wasn’t quite enough. Wish we could have stayed longer. The 2 bedroom villa was amazing, clean, cool and spacious to relax in either on the sun beds by the pool or day beds outside the rooms. Large kingsize beds with mosquito netting around the bed to keep you safe. However the beds were quite hard and the shower/bath was quite hard to get in and out of. Power points were universal and there was a 10 kilo bottle filtered water. The weather was beautiful and humid and the airconditioning worked a treat in the rooms. The kitchen had basic equipment for cooking if you need it. Beach was about a 1.3k away to go and see the sunset and everything else was a short buggy ride or nice walk. We will be back for the beautiful Bali food weather and hospitality.

I have stayed twice now, I stayed in a one bedroom pool villa on both occasions. The place is nice and you can stay there quite comfortably. I can’t place my finger on it but it seems to be missing the perzaz one expects when on holidays and paying $200 plus a night. Two key issues I found were, rooms are definitely a little dated, no doubt they were amazing in their day, but for me they need some work. Secondly, the breakfast is very restrictive, you are handed a menu and you have to pick one option only. For example, if you wanted an omelette you certainly are not allowed to have pancakes following. The coffee could be better also, yes the option is there to purchase a fancy coffee but at the price you pay for the room, one wouldn’t expect the breakfast to be so strict. Overall nice place, and if you can get a nice deal then go for it as it ticks most boxes. :)
