We have visited Bali many, many times I'm the past 30 years. In recent times have walked past Uma Sapna on numerous occasions while exploring the Seminyak area, always promising ourselves that we would stay there next time. We'll, after a 2 year, COVID induced hiatus, we finally realised our ambition. The staff at Uma Sapna were all extremely pleasant and polite; attentive to our needs in a non-intrusive way. Iluh in the office was extremely helpful in assisting us to resolve an issue with our Debit Card. "Terima kasih Iluh." Uma Sapna is located a short walk from Eat Street, which houses great restaurants such as Chandi, Café Bali, Ginger Moon to mention a small few, however, it is far enough away so as to be removed from the hustle and bustle of Jalan Kayu Aya. Do yourself a favour; Spoil yourself, spend some time with the lovely people at Uma Sapna. Be sure to sample the culinary delights at Hibiscus restaurant, located on Jalan Drupadi, a mere 5 minute walk from Uma Sapna.…
Ultra friendly and efficient from the pick up to the drop off at the airport. Friendly staff, clean, well appointed villa and helpful staff. The Executive Villa pools are 7 metres long, so plenty of space to chill in. This was our third stay, and all the villas we have stayed in have been very private. Breakfast in Kilo was great, but menu is quite small, but adequate. We will return
My wife and I spent two weeks in Bali for our first international destination after two years of Covid-19 lockdowns. We decided to stay at Villa Uma Sapna as it offered a safe space in the middle of Seminyak. Our decision to take the One Bedroom Executive Pool Villa - Stay & Relax Package was a great choice. Arriving in late May, we were greeted at the airport by the Uma Sapna driver named Winner (forgive the spelling). He was on time, friendly and a safe driver. The trip from the airport to the villa took approximately half an hour. The check-in process was easy, and we soon arrived at the lovely pool villa, Alor. Located in an area of the villa complex that was sunny and quiet, villa Alor was well-optioned and spotlessly clean. My wife had a bad hip during the stay, and her mobility was significantly restricted. Using a walking stick, Alor was reasonably easy to get to with only a few sets of steps to negotiate. Villa Alor is an Executive pool villa, and it has a generously sized pool that is 1.5-meters deep and easily accessed using the giant width steps leading into the pool from under the covered area. The undercover area is ideal for relaxing under the fan on a hot sunny Bali day and is appointed with a large day bed, table and chairs and a fridge. Easily ordered via phone or Whatsapp, Kilo’s breakfast menu was interesting at the start of our stay but became monotonous as it was unchanged during our two-week stay. Another criticism was there was no fresh fruit, yogurt, or cereal option on the menu. Kilo supplied only full cream milk for tea and coffee. However, Uma Sapna’s admin eventually provided our preferred milk to the restaurant for our consumption, for which we are very grateful. We used Uma Sapna’s Terra Spa for massage and facials during our stay. The Spa was peaceful and clean, and the staff were professional. I recommend spending a few hours being pampered by the Terra therapists. Outside Uma Sapna, many businesses are worth visiting, which are a short walk or taxi ride away. I recommend the Corner House for local food and entertainment. The Mano Beach House for dinner, watching the sunset over the ocean. The upmarket Care Spa and Zoya spa for a quality, budget-friendly massage. I commend all of the staff from Uma Sapna for tending to our every whim and need. Ira in admin deserves a special mention for her help, as does the security personnel who facilitated our safe exit from taxis many times over the two weeks. A special thank you to the manager and admin who generously provided a cake on our 25th wedding anniversary. The cake was delicious and a lovely gift. Finally, I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Villa Uma Sapna for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful pool villa in wonderful Bali.…
Uma sapna is quite simply the best. The villas are superb - heavenly private pools surrounded by velvety grass, with frangipani and bougainvillea floating down. Attention to small details make each villa truly beautiful- I think I’ve stayed in every one over the years. But it’s the staff who make this solo traveler come back time and time again. Each and every person who works at Uma Sapna take the trouble to know your name. It’s a big family who welcome you and care for you with huge smiles every single day. Uma Sapna is my haven. My home when I’m not at home.
Great service, love the ambiance.. we had a very wonderful time here! Breakfast at Kilo’s was great, the food is excellent. Me and family are satisfied with the experience and for sure will come back here for our next vacation.. Thank you Uma Sapna!
I find it difficult to express just how much I love Uma Sapna! We have been coming to Uma Sapna regularly for the past 10 years and it was fitting that Uma Sapna was our first overseas port of call after Australia's borders reopened and we could once again travel. We have stayed in many impressive hotels, but Uma Sapna is the one hotel we religiously return to. The staff at Uma Sapna are all wonderful and it was such a delight to see them all after having missed our past two year's visits. The location is perfect - very peaceful, no disturbances, yet right in the middle of the action. Their villas are classic -typical Balinese style but ultra luxurious, spacious and light. We stayed in Papua which is one of two two-bedroom villas which we have stayed in on several other occasions, so it felt very much like returning to another home. Service is amazing as always - they have a whole team of housekeepers that come in at once, so everything, including the pool, is spotless in no time. There is also an evening turndown service provided. The breakfasts at Kilo keep getting better - there is a huge selection of delectable items, so many that, despite staying for six nights we could hardly get through them all combined. I can't wait to be back at Uma Sapna soon!…
Check in and out was fluid. Situated in the heart of Seminyak and is surrounded by gardens and high walls so is the perfect escape for a busy area. Travelling again in a few months and will absolutely book this villa again
Just finished 7 nights at Uma Sapna. It was hard to leave because it was so perfect, beautiful villa, perfect pool temperature and all of the staff were amazing. The attached Kilo Kitchen is also awesome with quality coffee. Also extremely clean, doing it twice a day!
This was the 2nd time that I’ve stayed here. The first being some 12 years ago. Firstly, Bali as a location right now is very unusual - without the crowds it’s fairly lifeless. Fortunately for hotels they are at relatively higher capacity so it’s great to see the economy rebounding. The property itself is actually really nice, Room amenities are sufficient, and they replenish everything regularly. A turn down service in the evening restocks what is necessary if required. On the front of things, the property has been kept in a great state. But the rooms haven’t changed in 12 years. There are signs of aging where some things need modernising. The bath tubs are probably quite pricey being that they’re carved out of a stone slab, although they are in need of a clean due to staining. Curtains are also looking relatively worn and faded. There is an on site restaurant - Kilo - they don’t have an extensive menu, but they have varying breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu options. About 100m down the road you can find a mini mart where you can stock up on supplies as well. Just around the corner you have a whole street of shopping, dining, and entertainment to choose from, and you’re only a Gojek away from anywhere else. I would recommend using Gojek as the form of transport since local taxi drivers have a way of increasing pricing to suit themselves.…
I love this place! The villas are very peaceful whilst being walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. Kilo has incredible coffee and their menu is delicious too… Above all, the staff at Uma Sapna are very accommodating and caring with access to very good medical care which unfortunately on this occasion I needed. Was able to be treated by drs and nurses in the privacy of my villa. A huge thanks to the team at Uma Sapna for making this possible 🙏🏼
