A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights the Jo hotel has all the facilities you need to enjoy your holiday.
The resturant was nice, and the best thing is if you miss breakfast as it finishes at 10am you could order breakfast off the menu in the resturant and it was included so didn't need to pay!
We wanted to arrange to go to go to Mr Potato Head and had found a cooking class on Trip advisor that I really wanted to go to and Budi in the the tourism information centre arrange both of these activities and came and found us to give us all the itenary details (he was amazing always happy and took pride in his job thanks Budi you are great)
All the staff were great really friendly and always happy to help the bar staff were funny and made great cocktails and let you put requests in for music around the pool in the evening.
This hotel is in a great location 5 minute walk to the beach and close to shops and resturants

Loved this Resort. Our Superior Room was lovely. The cleaner left beautiful towel sculptures on our bed each day and little notes wishing us a lovely stay. The pool was huge and swim up bar was awesome for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety of food. Excellent location with just a 5 min walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again...

First time visiting Bali for work and also some travelling on the side and arrived very late / early morning at the hotel. The check-in and check-out was super quick and room was great and exactly what I requested.
The daily buffet breakfast has a great choice from Western to Asian food and great to fill you up for a long day travelling in Bali. I tried the restaurant for room service, lunch and dinner few times and they were more than happy to accommodate requests that were not on the menu based on special dietary requirements.
The pool was great but just wish that it was open bit later into the evening as when I came back from a long working day and work dinner it was almost closing time and didn’t really get a chance to use it as much as I wanted during the stay. The super friendly and courteous staff is what makes this hotel stand above the rest. Room service staff Diki was fantastic and it was great to find a very creative towel design animal on the bed every night after a long day’s work.
Only comment for improvement would be the WIFI connection speed and reliability. I had to work from my room for two days during the stay and I was required to be on Teams Video Calls most day and the wifi connection quality was a real struggle. For phone and travel use it’s fine but I had to work 10 hours a day from the room and the wifi constantly dropped out the video calls which was a pain point.
The location is right in the middle of the shopping area and very close stroll to the beach.
Overall would highly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic value for money stay with great food, fantastic staff and great location in Bali. Would certainly stay here again during visits to Bali.

I stayed at Blue-Zea in May 2022 for 5 delightful nights. The place was sparkling clean, the staff attentive and the drinks great. Blue-Zea is situated about 500 m to the beach, but it has a great pool to lounge by. The room I got was a standard king room, with a balcony to sit out on, read a book, have a meal or drink, with lovely parquet flooring, crisp clean white sheets, and a good sized bathroom with great shower pressure. There was a great and very big pool in a tropical setting right by the breakfast restaurant. The pool also has a poolside bar, so delightful if you felt like a cold beer while in the water. The staff were excellent and very helpful. I particularly want to call out Verda (from housekeeping) who was a lovely man and very helpful. The spa attached to the Blue-Zea resort was also excellent, with very knowledgeable staff and a good selection of treatments. The ladies all did an excellent job. The package I got also included breakfast which was lovely. It was a mixture of Indonesian options like lovely spicy noodles, vegetables and chicken dishes and Western foods with an egg station, should you feel like boiled or poached eggs. An abundance of fruit was also offered so I always walked away with a full tummy knowing I had eaten good wholesome food for breakfast. I sometimes got room service for dinner which they ordered from their other hotel with some fantastic Indonesian options. The satays were excellent. I also organised that the hotel picked me up from the airport when I arrived which was a great add on service. It costs a little more than in a taxi but well worth it, particularly if you are a first time traveller to Bali, which I was. I had someone waiting for me with my name showing so it made the trip back to the hotel easy and seamless. I would stay at this resort again as it was delightful and very reasonably priced.

Just Wanted to Say A Huge Thank You to Breezes Hotel Blu - Zea Resort for A Fantastic Stay .. This is our 2nd Time at The Hotel & is A Wonderful Place to Stay in Bali.. The Staff Are Amazing & Nothing is any Trouble.. The Breakfast Are Superb & Love The Extra Touches they Provide for Birthdays.. To me this is The Best Hotel to Stay in Seminyak Bali if you want A Traditional Hotel with Wonderful Staff Great Pool Area Relaxing & made to Feel soo Welcome.. This is my 2nd Visit here & Definatly will not be The Last... Already Planning Another Trip to Meet up with my Daughter who Lives in Australia & her & A Couple of her Friends that are coming for A 50th Birthday.. Position of the Hotel is Fantastic. Spa Is Amazing.. The Bell Boy that took us to Semenyak Square in The Complimentary Buggy was Lovely ,& so are all the Staff.. I Love The Departure Lounge Area they have as on the last Day you leave you can Relax Freshen up Shower Rtoilet Facilities Lounge Area with Tea Coffee Snacks & Soft Drinks begore Embarking on your Journey Home.. I Live in Tenerife So have to Fly from Bali - Manchester in UK Then onward Journey from Manchester to Tenerife So with having A Spa Treatment on Last Day & Departure Room Facilities makes my 25hr Journey Home more Pleasant.. We stayed in a Deluxe Room, third floor of the resort.
I cannot express how wonderful the staff at the Blu-Zea are. You will be met with constant smiles and greetings wherever you go. Highly recommend heading down to the swim up bar at 6pm for bingo where you can win free drinks or even a free massage!
The breakfast buffet might just be the highlight for foodies and lasts until 11am for late risers. You will get everything from fried rice and spring rolls to pastries to cereals and more. Each day is a slight variation so you can never be bored. The chefs are also very careful with making fresh plates for those with allergies. I was made fresh fried rice or eggs each morning to ensure they were gluten free.
The room was perfect size for a couple with a great big bed to spread out in the heat - though room is also airconditioned. Bathroom was simple with a shower that had great pressure. We loved the adorable towel-origami that housekeeping would make.
This was my second time staying there and my partners first. We both would happily return!

This was our 6th return stay - previous 5 visits when hotel branded as Breezes & this stay as new rebrand Blu Zea. We had a Superior room on the 2nd floor overlooking the main pool & bar. It was great to see that everything is still the same as it previously has been in terms of accommodation & staff. Our room was clean & comfortable & still continue to love the housekeeping staff who daily make animals out of the towels & leave lovely notes on the bed. Breakfast still has good variety, offered 24 hrs now, up to 10am is buffet, then set a la carte after 10am. We enjoyed omelettes & french toast daily. Happy hour at pool bar 3 times day - buy 2 get 1 free & I still loved my lychee martinis & lemongrass crackers throughout the day. We had lunch many times at pool bar also - beef rendang fried rice, fish curry, thai beef salad, lamb koftas, fish cakes & bbq special of pork ribs. All the food was tasty. Bingo is daily at 6pm which we continued to enjoy playing & hubby even won a free beer. We loved the extra inclusions we received like dining, pizza, drink & spa vouchers. Continued to enjoy the water refilling stations so no need to buy extra water whilst staying here. One of the main things we've always loved about this place is the staff as they are always very welcoming & very friendly, it's great to get to know them when you stay over a week & when they remember you each time you return back. Budi & Dora at the pool bar were always very friendly to us. We still continue to enjoy staying here. The main improvement I would love to see on our next visit is a designated smoking area that is away from the pool & pool bar. It was never a pleasant experience trying to enjoy our food & drinks in/around the pool & pool bar with sometimes constant smokers around you ruining the serenity. I've stayed in many hotels in Asia that now have designated smoking areas which is much appreciated from a non smoker perspective & many other countries already practice this so many guests would already be accustomed to not being able to smoke wherever they want & going to designated sections.

Aesthetically the Blu-Zea looks amazing; it is well set out and organised nicely. The staff are very polite and extremely helpful, they even remember your name!Â
We had a ground floor room that faced onto the pool area for ease of access and the best room at the resort. If we needed anything from the bar or otherwise we would wave the flag, and almost always a member of staff would tend to us. The service was incredible!Â
The room itself was large, more than enough space for two people, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was a little dated and small. The water in the shower and from the basin, seemed to be desalinated or 'hard water', so the soap would not foam and you felt a bit sticky after each shower. Also, the water coming from the basin had a little odour coming from it.Â
Each day the room was cleaned, bed made and a little animal folded in the towel with a lovely note, which was a nice personal touch. There were a few times we had to ask for things to be replenished, i.e toilet paper or hand towels.
The pools were so refreshing, but the gym was very dated, some equipment was broken.Â
The pool area close to the ground floor rooms (where we stayed) and the swim up bar was very nice in terms of views, convienance and access. However, at times kids were in this pool (front pool) splashing us and sceaming while we were on our sun beds which was a downside. We pay a little extra for these rooms including private subbed and we do not want to be disturbed by unruly kids. This area should be for adults only. Â
The buffet in the morning and food in general was excellent, always varied and very tasty. Happy hour starts at 5pm and you can select 2 cocktails and get one free.Â
Overall, the highlights for us was the location of the resort itself, being only 500 meters from the beach and on a main street where there are a lot of shops and restaurants. Other highlights included the room we stayed was spacious (except the bathroom) had excellent amedities, the food, the cocktail selection and the friendly service.

We stayed here for 4 nights, staff are very friendly and accommodating. You could easily spend your time just in the resort by the pool or go for a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. They also have a buggy so they can drop you off to the Main Street and beach. The rooms are lovely, we had a king bed , balcony overlooking the pool and they are serviced every day if you like and a nice little message left on the bed by the cleaner with an animal made out of the towels. If it’s your first time in Bali definitely recommend staying here as they have been very helpful.

We were offered this resort through flight centre along with others but after reading reviews of this place we decided to go with it. Well we weren’t disappointed the place is beautiful and the staff were amazing. From the gardeners through to reception everyone was incredible. But there were a couple of stand outs for us Cherie who greeted us every morning and remembering who we are by name was brilliant and our cleaner Maradana everyday day had a different animal made out of towels and the cleaning was above and beyond. It’s not the biggest resort which makes its very comfortable safe and friendly. We can’t wait to come back here again THANK YOU Blu-Zea for a wonderful time see you soon

We fit 2 iPads & travel folders but I doubt a laptop would fit. I’m with a previous opinion, put it in your suitcase with a lock on the case. I’ve stayed there 9 times & always very honest staff. Never had any problems.
There are more places to choose from in the Seminyak area.
