I love the super spacious room and bathroom. There is a table at one corner that allows me to clean, dry and grease my camera strobe and housing after my dives. The mee goreng that they serve is delicious too. The Indomaret convenient store in just 2 mins walk away. Very walkable to Liberty dive resort to see the sunrise, and also to my favourite Warung Jegeg, which is at the entry point to Liberty wreck.

Great, modern, spacious, clean hotel rooms, build around a lovely pool. Good service & diving. Food for breakfast & lunch was very good. I would recommend. This hotel is 3 minute walk to beach & has a view of Mount Agung behind- good location.

This is the second time we have stayed here, and we love the place. The room is nice and big, large comfortable beds and bedding. The pool is lovely and i like the gardens. This place is dog friendly which is a massive plus for us! We stayed in room 3 and room 7. Both nice rooms. The food from the restaurant was also nice and i have attached pictures

The SS liberty itself is not much to see during day time and visibility is not as good as we expected. You got lots of dive site around the tulamben area which offers great variety of macro dives. Make sure you get a local DM as they do know what to show you. This resort offer a great tailor made trip and comfortable room for you as well.

We checked in for two nights and then added another one whilst doing a free diving course. We turned up feeling stressed as the airline had lots our bag but seeing after a friendly checkin and seeing the beautiful garden we felt better! The pool is lovely and clean and the staff tidy the area around it very well. The rooms are massive so lots of space for all your diving/photography equipment and bags! The rooms have a outside seating area so you can sit out and enjoy the view of the garden. This place seems to be very good value in comparison to other accommodation in Tulamben. The staff were very helpful in ringing the airport to find out about my bag (it eventually turned up 6 days later but that is a whole other story!) It has a very peaceful atmosphere and the only noise at night is from the frogs in the pretty ponds. I would definitely recommend!!…

This place is great! Beautiful pool in the middle of the 8 huge and comfortable rooms (ac & fridge etc.). We came here for diving and it was the best choice. Guides are young, professional and very friendly. Whenever we wanted to go diving it was possible because there is no fixed timetable. Shipwreck usat liberty is in the ocean right across the street. Breakfast was great. We booked our transfer to gili at the reception and it was much cheaper than everywhere else. We'll be back!

Good hotel compared to the price. Nice hotel rooms and friendly staff. However the staff has still to improve in the english language. Seems to me as if they were a bit too young to “run” the hotel. Restaurant was ok. Tulamben as a village can offer great diving opportunities, but besides from that, there is nothing to see or visit

We had a group of 6 and stayed here for 5 nights and the place is simply the best I've ever been on for a dive resort. The place was clean, beautiful and had such a nice and comfortable, laid back atmosphere. I normally go into a fair amount of details about what makes a place great or not so great, but i'll simply say this for TDR - its definitely value for money and you will definitely have a great time there. We simply cannot thank the staff of the resort and the dive crew for their hospitality.

Stayed here for 6 nights after having to rearrange our trip due to the earthquake. What a find, the place is great; good sized rooms, cheap, free breakfast, lovely pool and gardens and really helpful staff. We booked two rooms one for us and one for the kids - we had a king size double while the kids got a large double and a single. Most of the rooms (except 3 and 8) are connected to a neighbouring room via the bathroom wall - but despite being next to our kids, who can seemingly transform into a heard of elephants at will at home, we heard nothing through the connecting wall. The bathrooms have a huge shower, which could do with a smaller head to give a bit more umph but other than that are clean and well appointed. The bedroom has a separate seating area with table as well as a desk, wardrobe and safe. Air conditioning works well and there is a fan if preferred as well as an additional fan on the outside terrace where you can sit, relax and watch your kids try and drown each other in the pool or wind each other up by moving a towel, leaf, pair of goggles or even a drop of water onto their siblings chosen lounger. Around the pool there are enough loungers for everyone, a couple of shaded pavilions and some ponds complete with frogs - you will hear them at night and also occasionally see them out and about if returning after dark. The hotel is about 400m north of the ‘centre’ of Tulamben, although the walk is easy and you don’t really need to leave as the onsite restaurant is good. Can’t speak to the diving as we went with another operator, but the only reason for that was to ensure that we got on the courses we needed and the dive centre here doesn’t have a great web presence. The best bit of the trip was listening to the gamelan practice every night that took place just down the road. If you hear it, pop in as they were very welcoming to us - takes place in an open ‘barn’ like structure off the right hand side of the road as you walk into town. All in all a great stay - very quiet although the restaurant is right by the road and is subject to the roaring motorists. WiFi can be a bit hit and miss but that’s probably more due to the vagaries of the local connections rather than anything else.…
