I had a lovely stay at the Liberty Dive Resort in May. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. My dive guide, Made, was amazing. He showed me so many tiny nudibranchs, shrimp, frogfish, etc. - he was clearly experienced in working with photographers, as he knew which angles I'd want to shoot from. The 1:1 diver to guide ratio is a true luxury for photographers - I'd highly recommend and hope to come back!

Our very first trip to Bali for scuba diving. The resort is very well organized and offers good food and service. The dive masters go above and beyond to make you comfortable so you can enjoy your diving. Nitrox is provided at no additional charge. The resort is older but kept nice, mattresses are horrible, but the cleaning staff is awesome. Clean sheets and towels every day. No television or room phone and it is very remote. All in all I wasn't disappointed and would stay here again.

I have just had a seven night stay in this beautiful property and loved it! As previous posters have said, diving here is streamlined and very well organized. You get your own guide , your equipment is taken care of if you want , you set your own schedule and there is free Nitrox. You get on the truck and off you go, the furthest site is ten minutes drive away max. Putting equipment on in the water and taking it off in the water is also fine if you want. The Liberty Wreck is of course a wonderful dive and seeing the bumpheads waking up and heading out for the day is a unique experience. Diving it was a good if not better than ever. I did most dives in nearby slopes , such as Seraya and Melasti, well known for critters. For muck diving an experienced local guide makes a big

My perfect hide away on Bali! Returning here regularly for diving and relaxing. Pickup from the airport and just a few hours drive to escape the busy and touristic southern part of Bali. Here in the East / North East it's still quiet and relaxed, wich is also the atmosphere at the Liberty Dive Resort. Diving is the main focus and activity with the wreck of the USS Liberty 'next door', but the experienced divers avoid the wreck and go for the various vulcanic slopes in the area to surge for small critters. Highly valued dive guides will accompany you and will find critter after critter. The will even point out where to position your camera to get the perfect shot. Good restaurant, friendly staff and a nice tropical garden in which you will find three pools if you want to relax.

We stayed at liberty for 3 days diving as part of a multi location tour of bali. So first the diving was great, staff excellent, equipment good. The liberty dive, especially early morning had multiple large parrot fish. Coral garden had a ruined temple. All from beach entry. Such a slick operation. The resort itself was clean, 3 beautiful pools and well kept grounds. The restaurant provided good food at very reasonable prices. All in the shadow of mount agung. This is fantastic value and great for diving (I am not a hugely experienced diver and found it all accessible). Strongly recommended.
