I stayed at the Liberty Dive Resort for 12 nights in October/November. It was my second visit and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The transfers from and to the airport were on time and efficient. I was staying by myself this time and so chose a deluxe resort room as part of the accommodation/dive package. I was in Room 6 which is upstairs towards the front of the resort overlooking the dive training pool. Unfortunately there were no sea views due to the palm and frangipani trees in front of the porch. The stairs provided a serious calf muscle workout. The air-conditioned room with en-suite bathroom and porch was spacious for one. The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. The food at the restaurant was well prepared, tasty with an adequate range of meals in the menu. I…
When we arrived in Denpasar, Bali we were greeted by Liberty Dive Resort's driver/well maintained car who navigated the scooter/auto packed streets safely ... eliminating the need for an intermediate hotel stay. Bali offers world class diving. For me, this was both exciting and intimidating. (Padi certified in April 2017) Liberty Dive Resort (named for its proximity to the USS Liberty dive site) provides an excellent opportunity for all skill levels, transport to and from shore access dives, EANX, well cared for equipment. Our dive guide (Made) was patient, English speaking, and very knowledgeable while skillfully pointing out wreck features/critters inhabiting these waters. Our room and bathroom was large, air conditioned and ceiling fanned. Bug-free, comfortable, located…
We were a group of 6 people who visited Bali in early Oct. We stayed at Liberty Dive resort and did scuba diving with them as well. We had an amazing experience with the dive and stay. Dive: We had 6 buddies for the dive for 6 people. The one on one dive was extremely helpful since 2 people in our group didn't swim very well. My instructor Tama was very friendly and helpful - making jokes and putting everyone at ease. We did one coral dive and one ship wreck dive after the training. The instructions were very good and they waited till everyone was comfortable. The dives were very good, and we enjoyed the shipwreck dive the most. Stay: We had booked 3 garden view cottages, and each had a patio where we could relax. The resort itself had a very relaxing feeling and the evenings…
