We staed here 2 nights. The place is ideally located if you dive, 100m from the beach of the Liberty wreck. The dive club is good. Prices are really cheap and you can enjoy long dives. Nice pool. we stayed in the familliy rooms, perfect!

My wife Marta and I came over to Tulamben on the advice of a friend who said if we were going to Bali and wanted to dive, we must hit the Liberty wreck and the coral garden right next to it. We found Liberty Dive Resort by chance (there are several in the area for diving) and booked a night without having seen the resort. This is always a bit of a gamble, but the drive from the airport is about 3 hours, we took 7 stopping at the various temples and artisans. We are recommending this resort to everyone. The staff are all so friendly and the place is immaculate. Diving is too easy with equipment delivery to your entry point, state of the art gear, beautiful coral, every type of fish, eels and of course the Liberty wreck, a shallow wreck that is teaming with everything from

This is one of the best hotels I had in Bali for a reasonable price (Rp 400.000/night 2 persons incl breakfast. A big clean bedroom with AC and fan and the bed is super! The restaurant is small but the foot is good. There is also a swimming pool with chairs and trees for shadow. They have the newest diving equipment, so next time I don't bring my own. For diving the Liberty, you put on your diving suit at the hotel, walk 2 minutes to the beach and put on your tank. Than walk into the water and have a nice dive. For other diving locations like the drop off the bring you with the motorbike in 5 minutes.

I stayed at the resort for 4 days and went diving everyday. The dives were great and we saw so many fish and nice corals. The wreck is amazing, but there are also many other dive sites in the area. We did our nitrox course on the first day and once you have that nitrox is for free. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet and it is a nice touch that you can make your own coffee or tea in the room. That is important as we did a dawn dive to be first at the wreck. It is only a short walk and getting there early you can see all the huge bumphead parrot fish waking up. There is a nice garden with a pool and you can get a massage after a hard days diving. The restaurant has nice food and is good value. Our room was about 35$ US a night. Two dives with a

My wife & I stayed at Liberty Dive Resort in October 2008 and now again in June 2010. There have been some changes, including new upstairs rooms and renovated garden. The service is good and the rooms are very clean. We had a small refrigerator and coffee making in the room. We could walk maybe 50 meters to the Liberty Wreck dive site down a small road. The dive shop was fitting NITROX when we were there (June 2010). We really liked the quiet location and small hotel feeling. It made us feel like we were on a relaxing holiday. One small problem was that the walk to other restaurants in the village was along a dark road with a footpath with holes in it. You need to take a torch so you don't fall into a hole!
