Our family put up at the Ngwe Moe hotel when we took a trip to interesting places in and around Mawlamyine. Located on Strand road, this hotel faces the Thanlwin river. I like my room. It is on the fourth floor of the hotel, overlooking the river. I was very relaxed and delighted at viewing the placid river with fishing...

Very comfortable, all modern conveniences. Excellent service. Well located to visit all the area sights--take a tuktuk to the largest temple on the hill (Mahamuni) and then you can walk along the ridge and visit the other temples. Worth getting a river view room.

I stayed here for a week and I was lucky enough to have probably the best room in the hotel - room 805. This is a very spacious corner room on the top floor with a superb view over the Thanlwin (Sulween) river and the tree-lined road alongside it. The room had all the comforts and amenities one would expect...

On a business trip, I stayed only one night and especially appreciated this hotel for its high class and welcoming staff, its modern rooms which we very comfortable and its location. The hotel being almost new, the interior design was especially clean and modern.

We got a room 209 looking out over the river. It was beautiful and the rooms are big plus soft pillows and mattresses. It was heaven... Very clean and the breakfast was huge. We had dinner there and it was very reasonable . If you get the chance visit Ogre Island just 10 mins away and they make their own...

We booked 2 river view rooms which was a great view for sunset. The room and bathroom (only shower) was large and hot water plentiful. The restaurant prices were moderate, cooking was tasty but the claypot chicken was actually mixed vegetable with chicken. Maybe chef was off. Breakfast was fine. The city is still not on most tourist maps and...

We stayed for 2 nights, and we had probably the best room. We requested to change our room to a river view room, which was kindly granted for. The otel room has modern western fittings, comfy bed, and warm showers. We indeed had a relaxing day after touring the town. Hotel staff are well trained, receptionists are courteous to allow...
