We (a family of four, kids aged 7 and 10) stayed at Mango Bay Resort for 5 nights. We loved it so much that we even tried to extend our booking but unfortunately the resort was full because of chinese new year. The place has a great ambience and decor. it's relaxed yet stylish at the same time. The beach...

We stayed at Mango bay for six nights and had a great time. Highlight is the beautiful natural setting. Our bungalow inside and the outdoor bathroom were simple but really nice. The water pressure in the shower is really weak though. The experience with the staff was mixed. The room service was good and the guys from the activity center...

This was a return trip (4 days) and another perfect escape. Mango Bay achieves that rare balance of top notch, thoughtful but unfussy service, authenticity, a great bar, delicious food and sense of being close to nature. Unlike the many high density resorts on the island (Phu Quoc) Mango Bay has a long beach with lots of space to explore...

We are currently staying at Mango Bay resort. 10 days in total and currently on day 8. This is a really nice place to stay. Great Beach, nice rooms, lots of Geckos and it is pleasant. However, the service is really bad and this has been throughout the stay. Upon arrival we were guaranteed a airport transfer as we were...

This is a difficult review to write. The actual resort was wonderful but it was the other issues beyond that which made our stay so disappointing. I want to start with the positive. The room was amazing. Clean, well appointed and loved the eco feel. Bare windows opening to lush views, it was like a fancy log cabin. Those complaining...

I actually stayed at a resort just next to Mango Bay, but ate at the restaurant each night, it is probably the best restaurant on the island. Pretty good value, good service and possibly the best view of an ocean sunset in south east Asia, a truly amazing setting. My only complaint would be the noise in the restaurant, the...

We usually stay in hotels and wanted a bit more adventure this time. We stayed 5D/4N in P07 bungalow. My girls are 8&10 and we all loved this place. I honestly have nothing bad to say. Could I find things to pick at yes, but won't. Nice size resort to have a good crowd but not busy. The bungalows are...

We had a marvellous time at Mango Bay Resort. It occupies a fine site right on the sea, on the west coast of the island. We were accommodated in a timber cabin on stilts, with a capacious bedroom, a good-sized balcony and an open-air bathroom - very liberating and definitely private (it is surrounded by a high fence and jungle...

Once you are in the resort, there is no need at all to ever leave this place during your stay..... They are located along 1km of beach, the resort has a very spacious lay out and 2 restaurants with the best cuisine you can find in Phu Quoc (and not only Phu Quoc) We stayed at a sea-view plantation bungalow...

We had an amazing stay. This eco resort is very eco, it's a cool experience to feel closer to nature and to feel good about not having a huge tourist foot print on this quaint island. Our sea view bungalow was just perfect. They provide various games you can choose from the reception, and plenty of beach activities like canoeing...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is a low density resort, driven by a passion for the environment, intelligent use of materials, and strong support for island culture. Mango Bay is tucked away off the beaten track, with Vietnam's first rammed earth bungalows, enclosed by beach and protected forest. There are no air-cons, television sets or telephones in the rooms for a true fusion with nature at the island's first eco-friendly resort.
