I arrived at Mai House in the evening; the grounds were very mysterious and charming in the dark. The receptionist was the brother of the owner, and he was really friendly, speaking great English. In the morning, the grounds felt a bit more like suburbs. There were signs everywhere, "no public access to beach" or "only for guests" that made...

My girlfriend and I ended our stay in Vietnam with 6 days on Phu Quoc, and managed to get a bungalow at Mai House. The location is great, and the beach well maintained in front of the bungalows. We did not have an ocean view bungalow, but this didn't diminish our enjoyment in any way. The staff were very friendly...

Elegant place with good rooms, lovely garden and right on the beach. Staff very helpful and attentive and their massages. About 25 minute pleasant stroll into town where we ate happily at the night market (no traffic)and wandered around the produce market by day.

Very beautiful place, people very friendly and the food is excellent. Try some of the seafood and other restaurants in town, including the market - some of the seafood/barbeque dishes are wonderful but Mai's food is best in the area.

After spending three days in Ho-Chi-Minh we moved on to the wonderful island of Phu Quoc. Almost a week we stayed at the Mai House. Gerard the owner and his team makes it really difficult to leave... the bungalows are a good three star level. We stayed in a seaview bungalow which is worth the additonal price, even if its...

Mai House was a good beach resort. The restaurant food was the best that we had on Phu Quoc, the Pomelo Juice was delicious, the gardens are pretty, it was in what was my opinion the best part of long beach, the air conditioning worked and the mattresses were comfortable. The cleaners and bar staff were fine and quite friendly-...

I stayed at Mai House with My Partner and our 2 little girls aged 7 and 21 months at the end of May. I originally wanted to stay at Cassia cottage because they had the pool but they were doing pool maintenance the week we were to stay so after hours of searching and reading reviews, I decided to stay...

We stayed at Mai House for 3 nights in March this year, we found our stay really OK, I would try to describe both up and down sides of the stay. You could see a small piece of the sea from our sea view bungalow, it was not really near the sea though. The house was rather clean, the bed...

We spent 6 nights here for our honeymoon and it is was perfection! The rooms are huge with gorgeous 4 poster beds, the beach is beautiful and the whole layout of the resort is so laid back that it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The food at the resturant was by far the best on the...
