Nice experience. Tour guide set up the arrangement- swallow tail and they were great. very happy with the hotel and the breakfast. Seems like a lot of the hotels are similar in Bhutan/ Had a wonderful time.
Large rooms are in bungalows around the grounds, ours had a seperate seating area, balcony, overbath shower with plenty of hot water from individual heaters. View out over valley. Staff lovely, welcome hot drinks, wifi only works near reception. Food buffet style, Indian influence.
It is hard to find reviews of Bhutan hotels coming from an American point of view. So a tricky by American standards this is a 1 star hotel. In Bhutan that is tourist class. In Bhutan you pay big money to get 4 or 5...More

Really nothing to add here, except to confirm that you should NOT contemplate driving in Bhutan. You need an experienced local who knows the roads. Better still, as you have to hire a guide, go with a reputable tour... More
