Arranged by our tour company, we (family of 4) spent two quiet nights at the Meri Punesum Resort in Punakha. Located at the end of a road that climbs up the mountainside, the Meri Punesum Resort conveys a sense of isolation. The buildings are connected by brick paths and surrounded by natural landscaping with many great views of the valley....

As it is located on the hill we can get the view of the surrounding valley and the food was good .I think the room can be better planned .We avoided using the light in the bath room as it starts with sound.

Resort style accommodation arranged by our tour guides - BMV tours. Tranquil hillside location. Quite special views, very clean, heating in room, good food. Could easily spend a week here. Make sure don't miss visiting the nunnery that will reward you with spectacular views while here.

Love the surrounding of hotel. There were so many nice places for photos. From our room, we could see the whole place covered by cloud in the early morning. Walk beyond the car park to see the sky full of stars. Heated water is limited and intermittent. I was almost done when the hot water suddenly stopped and my room...

The hotel is located on top of the hill as one approaches Punakha valley. The hotel has a very lovely setting with a beautiful reception area with sit outs and rooms that overlook the valley. The staff is very friendly and courteous and make you very comfortable from the moment you are in the hotel area. The food is good...

The main hotel isa very attractive building, with the rooms spread out around it.Our room was part way down the hillside with a lovely view from our balcony down to the river. We had excellent wifi reception even on the balcony. The room was immaculately clean, the bathroom equally so. The shower was consistently hot and had good water pressure....

This resort promised my guide and driver that they could stay here but at the last minute, told them there was no room. It's OK if rooms are not available but I think they should be informed earlier. They ended up having to drive 20 minutes to find another place to stay after a long day. There were many insects...

Nice resort for 1 day. Room is not that great and clean.water is cold if you need als shower. But the vieuw is amazing! Also the breakfast and diner is not bad. If they had warm water and and a cleaner room it World get als higher ranking. But for 1 day it is a nice hotel .

Just stayed for 1 night but this hotel nestled on a hillside above the river valley was perfect. Tranquil , good friendly service , and beautiful gardens. Restaurant served a perfectly acceptable buffet dinner and adequate breakfast. Comfortable bed, simply furnished but functional rooms. Wifi only really works in public areas. Would recommend

We stayed in the resort from 12th to 14th May, 2016. The cottages we stayed in were called Meri Delux and were twin cottages( nos. 131, 132). Although the cottages were a bit far from the reception and the restaurant but it was manageable. The cottages had a separate sitting area and attached balcony too. The view from the balcony...
