The main hotel isa very attractive building, with the rooms spread out around it.Our room was part way down the hillside with a lovely view from our balcony down to the river. We had excellent wifi reception even on the balcony. The room was immaculately clean, the bathroom equally so. The shower was consistently hot and had good water pressure....

This resort promised my guide and driver that they could stay here but at the last minute, told them there was no room. It's OK if rooms are not available but I think they should be informed earlier. They ended up having to drive 20 minutes to find another place to stay after a long day. There were many insects...

Nice resort for 1 day. Room is not that great and clean.water is cold if you need als shower. But the vieuw is amazing! Also the breakfast and diner is not bad. If they had warm water and and a cleaner room it World get als higher ranking. But for 1 day it is a nice hotel .

Just stayed for 1 night but this hotel nestled on a hillside above the river valley was perfect. Tranquil , good friendly service , and beautiful gardens. Restaurant served a perfectly acceptable buffet dinner and adequate breakfast. Comfortable bed, simply furnished but functional rooms. Wifi only really works in public areas. Would recommend

We stayed in the resort from 12th to 14th May, 2016. The cottages we stayed in were called Meri Delux and were twin cottages( nos. 131, 132). Although the cottages were a bit far from the reception and the restaurant but it was manageable. The cottages had a separate sitting area and attached balcony too. The view from the balcony...

My wife and I spent 1 night along with 2 large groups and a score of other couples. We arrived in time for the late afternoon light highlighting the surrounding rice terraces and Punakha far below, to be enjoyed most from the WIFI exterior lounge. Our room #124 had a balcony with table and chairs that overlooked one of the...

You are on a house arrest once you are in the Hotel. There are absolutely no activities to do nearby (unless you want to go for walks). The restaurant does not provide any good food and nor were there many options. It was expensive as well. The breakfast was basic. The room was nice, big and comfortable with very nice...

The room was spacious and the TV was working perfect. There's balcony overlooking the valley and padi fields. But there's quite a bit of insects, so a repellent would be useful. The wifi is only available in the restaurant or reception area. Dinner and breakfast were ok. Overall, a pleasant and clean room. But the rest of the aspects were...

Great views from the rooms out across the rice terraces of the Punakha Valley and the river below. We had two rooms for our family of five overlooking the valley, both with pleasant balconies. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable, although not luxurious. Bathrooms could do with a bit of an update. Sleep quality was excellent - no noise at...

This resort is on a hill which means that rooms have a fantastic view of farmlands, greenery and mountains. Rooms and bathrooms though are pretty basic with the shower even lacking the accompanying tap. There are no wardrobes but only a sort of rack provided to hang your clothes. However, the balcony sort of makes up for the stark nature...
